Crystals would not allow enough frequency deviation, so the audio would be very quiet.

@@andyhowlett2231 to add crystals or germanium diodes to every other 20 loops on a coil from 80 to 120 turns for Am is a simple way to understand how to use some or all of the coil for tuning. Like ever 20 turns you leave a loop out and that's where you would put the extras in. I'm a noob 😃 but this is cool stuff.👍

@@jasonmorgan661 That's not what he wants to do though. Sasha is asking if a crystal oscillator could be used for this purpose. It cannot, as the FM produced would be very narrow and sound very quiet on the receiver.

It's possible to make it on your own by designing a good antenna and a stable frequency circuit with a good Q factor. But the thing is if you don't have a license, FCC will put your ass in jail.

Folks, no electrician can do that. Don't get me wrong, I want learners to learn electronics right from the start and not just tinker. Anyone who wants to learn electronics must first learn to read a circuit diagram. That's missing here.
Then I'll draw your attention to the fact that this is not an FM transmitter but only a transmitter in the frequency range of FM radio. FM means: Frequency Modulation. No audio or video signal is fed in here, nor is there a modulator.

Или использовать микрофонный усилок на микрос. Добавить диодный смеситель для модуляции и полосовой. Фильтр получится однополосный сигнал.

Передатчик был на двух транзисторах фм диапазон, радиус 100м, приемник - тот китайский сканер на одной микрухе, он частоту держал почти во всем диапазоне, проверял генератором, ему было плевать что батарейка садиться и частота плывет.
