    I continue to be thrilled with how much time and effort you have spent on this project. While I still have full use of both of my hands ( I nearly lost partial use of my dominant hand to a crushing accident in my 20's) I know many people who will benefit from your work once the kit is available. I'm so amazed at how far you have taken purely mechanical prosthetics from the hooks that were used by my elders in the 1970's.

    over half a million yt subs should be well more than enough to make a good living, please make a few calls to some social media management companies and one of them will get you hooked up. you should be clearing $80k without issue at this point.

    • @pileofstuff
      @pileofstuff 12 днів тому +8

      Subs don't pay the bills - views do.
      And a lot of those subscribers don't watch most videos (this is true on most channels).

    • @LordDragox412
      @LordDragox412 12 днів тому +1

      Social Media Management company: Okay, want to pay the bills? Start pumping out funny meme videos for a zoomer-oriented audience! Also, children lullabies with disturbing images, and soap-cutting compilation videos with disturbing AI-generated stories about families getting murdered in the background! But if you want to earn the big big bucks, it's time to learn how to draw pregnant Frozen characters, Elsagate is back in style baby! Remember, preying on kids is THE number one way to earn money! Just don't let UA-cam slap the "kid-friendly" tag on the video, that will zap your AdSense money away, and you want the kids to watch ALL the ads because they're too stupid to skip them or install ad blocking software! Easy money! Okay, that's it for social media managing, that will be $50k, cash only to avoid taxes.

      I haven't had any issues getting through tsa either domestically or international. I don't take it off, I just go through the body scanner, they swab my hand for explosive residue, and send me on my way. The last couple of times, one or both of the agents have seen my videos and pull me aside just so they can get a better look at it and talk to me. When I was in Frankfurt, flying home from Maker Central, I was selected for extra screening. The guy running it had seen my videos and knew exactly who I was. He ended up giving my spiel to the other agents. It was pretty cool.

    • @missingpartsclub
      @missingpartsclub  12 днів тому +4

      Because of the very high drive ratio between the link sections, any bearing play is magnified terribly. .002 turns into .010 pretty fast, then you go to the end of the fingers and it turns into actual measurements. It's not a "got to have" change, more of it bugs me on principle, "I'd like it better if it was like this" change. After all, I'm trying to produce something that is super durable, reliable, and relatively maintenance free.

    • @Zaximillian
      @Zaximillian 12 днів тому

      Should I be embarrassed to not know what bearing play or drive ratio is? I get so intimidated by mechanical terminology. But I'll tell you this: it sounds like you're into quality of life, efficiency, cost and reliability issues. I'm glad form and function seems to be almost done!
