I always wanted to know why almost all female perfumes are smothered in vanilla i like vanilla but it doesnt need to be in every perfume.. im now learning i guess its a common crowd pleaser eh?
It is a crowd pleaser but it adds warmth and sweetness and is common in oriental perfumes, perhaps try looking for a chypre or woody fragrance. When beginners start making perfumes they tend to lean towards vanilla as it can cover mistakes and it's easy to work with!
