@@harrodsongs yes, its cheaper than others, but has a nice sound. In this vid the derpmind does the arp hearable in the beginning. I use my rev2 for pads though, as it has more high frequencies as far as my hearing goes. But yeah i started with poly d and the deepmind 12. Also own an blofeld, but its too menuedivy for me
@@harrodsongs 5 premium voices... but hefty procetag. If money isnt an issue, go for the premium Segment. I felft, if i decided to go for a cheaper synth, allthough i sunconsciencously wanted a more premium one, i always ended with the latter anyway 😁 but deepmind 12 is used around 500€, or less. The keybed of my rev2 is way better though, of course
@@JohnTrasherI stumbled over your video where you compare the UB-Xa with the other Behringer synths, got curious what else you’ve got on your channel and found this video. 😀
John your killing them out there. The track is fire and those vocals sound great. Only in Europe can you make it with this music. Here in the states is different. Much love and respect from me. Keep killing them!!!👍👍👍👍👍
You probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf for the last couple of days :)
Hey John. Hope all is well. 3 yrs later, this video popped up again. This time, it pops up because of the Hydrasynth that I just recently purchased a month ago. I noticed you have the Akai MPK249. Do you use it with the Hydrasynth? I've been thinking about buying it for the aftertouch with the Hydrasynth. Your input would be helpful. Thanks.
Danke dir! Der Poly D ist auch einfach ein richtig geiler Synthesizer vor allem für Bass finde ich. Der Rev2 hat im Mix aber den schönsten Padklang. Bis auf die Stimme musste ich da kaum mehr was abmischen am Ende! :)
Thanks. :) its a cheap one from rockjam: www.amazon.de/dp/B01B15JPCQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_g5YS981ulHvAd and an adam hall sks www.amazon.de/dp/B007V4GTSK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_8cpCerEmLOvCR The LED lights were custom Made though.
I Made a Short Clip here: instagram.com/p/CEiLYxBIVGf/?igshid=j5gwrvuagknt its selfmade. Its basically 3 LED strip (neopixel) that can be controlled by an arduino/raspberry pi. Ive build an midi input to the arduino, so that the lights react to midi pitch and velocity.
Super Arrangement, super Vocals!
Thanks, glad to hear!
Thats a set up right there!
Hey John , Danke für deinen Song, mir geht es genau wie dir zur Zeit.
Freut mich zu hören! Also das Feedback. Durchhalten, es werden auch wieder andere Zeiten kommen!
Good, I like your singing. A lot of synth demos or synth wave songs are only instrumental. The singing adds something extra.
Thanks a lot! Yeah i had a band back in the days and try to make my synths and groovebox to substitute a whole band! 😁
@@JohnTrasher What might you recommend for someone buying his first polysynth? Do you like the deepmind?

I like this as both performance and music video. Great song here; good vibes.
Thank you! Glad you like it. Haha good vibes inspite the lyrics have a more or less bitter meaning 😁

yeah i like this one too :D
Geil! Text und Mucke!
Vielen Dank, ich freu mich für's Feedback!
Wunderbar
Danke! 😁
Awesome song and your vocals are on point!
Thank you! To be fair, i did some Post processing on the vocaltrack... but i guess that's how it's done these days 😁
Hab deine 'Werbung' in der Rev 2 Gruppe gesehen, schöner Sound, geile Bassline & 1a Gesang!
