I feel like the songs are too short.... that's my only grievance about the entire album I feel like every song needed another 45 seconds to a minute more..... they NEVER LET ME DOWN vocally and it's a crime they are not bigger in the US
Lm5 superior but this is below lm5. Definitely above glory days imo, GD had quite a number of skips for me (def not including the obv bops from that era)
I love the album, but there were too many short songs, why would they do thaaat?😭😭 and where is my deluxe edition with some acoustic/unplugged/stripped version of a single?😞 I really felt that I needed more of this era😭 but I loved the album, it really felt like Confetti, the name is perfect!!! Although, I would've put Confetti at the end, I don't feel Breathe as a final track, and ending the album with Confetti would've been a reaaal partyyyy. Anyways, my faves right now are Confetti, Gloves Up, Rendezvous and If You Want My Love ♡♡♡

@@zhanejackson5062 it actually does trust me The girls usually go to writing camps and writing trips in order to get the inspiration for their songs.. this year in particular was a rare case where they couldn’t have proper writing sessions i reckon.. so it is indeed understandable that the songs r short yet very beautiful i luv every single thing about this album

Every fan is entitled to their personal opinion cause after all we're the consumers who will eventually buy (or not) the album. It think constructive criticism is important and it doesn't invalidates our love for the girls. A lot of artists have actually put out amazing content despite the pandemic (although I understand it might be more difficult for a group who doesn't live together). Perhaps the girls should've delayed the album for next year and dropped invididual singles, like 'Bounce Back', to just to keep fans engage. Maybe that way there wouldn't be so much expectations and pressure.

Honestly LM5 is still their best album in my opinion. I like Confetti but it does not match up with how conceptually good LM5 is, the empowerment, messages of friendship and the new sounds still makes it one of my fave album from a group. I still enjoyed Confetti but I wanted a more lyrically matured songs . Idk why but it does not resonates to me like LM5 does. Also this is all just my opinion I don't hate the girls I still want all the best for them. I like your honesty btw. It is what I like about your channel.
I agree with you. It takes like 2 months for really any album to completely grow on me, but yes I do think LM5 is their best album by far. Stream Confetti!

there were too many cheesy songs in Confetti, such as not a pop song, mess (happy 4 u), nothing but my feelings, breathe. It's a shame because the good and mature songs from the album like Confetti and Rendezvous are so amazing but they belong on LM5
Literally made sure I was up for it to hear it when it came out at midnight. Honestly have never loved and album more than i do confetti. May have cried at my love won’t let you down
confetti is my freakin favourite out of the album... it's so amazing... to be honest i've got to say that the singles that were pre-released were much better than the rest of the album :/... but still i have to applaud their vocals, they are insane.. and also their effort... i think it's a good start in a new record label.. i'm hoping for more goodness in the future.. and who knows probably with more listens, the other songs will grow on me more like always
you spilled a few tea, some songs didn't work for me in the first play, but when i am streaming the album nonstop, all the songs have grown in me like fuck. that concludes CONFETTI as a non-skip album.

Sweet melody, Confetti and Gloves up are my fave cause I just love darker Little Mix over something like Holiday or Break up song. I also love My love won't let you down cause they just can't do a balade wrong. Rendevous unfortunely sounds a lot like some songs on LM5, like American boy or something, not too original.
i've only listened to it once so far, but honestly this era kinda felt anticlimactic. i didn't really like break up song or sweet melody too much, but i loved holiday. a lot of these songs just sound too much for me, and i totally agree with you on the not wanting to listen to slow songs when i need a pick-me-up. i love the girls but this album just wasn't it for me, LM5 will always be my fav LOL. also i love how honest you were!
I totally agree if I'm being honest I am a bit disappointed cause LM5 set the bar so high for me that I thought they could still top that. I still love the girls but the replay value of some of the songs in this is not there for me. Also message wise LM5 hits so many points that I could talk about all day. LM5 is still their best album.

Everyone could have been talking about them if they were given the promo they deserve. They still have so much more years on their way, I hope and I believe they'll have their time. I am watching lots of reaction videos for confetti and like other LM albums not everyone has the same taste so they have different favorites and not so into songs. It shows more about the personality of the individual reactor, and art is personal so we don't always agree on the interpretation of the music. But can we agree that this album has the quality, the diversity, the range, the vocals, the production, the choreo (for the videos) and more, so we can all find somethings that we really love from it, and which will grow on us with more listens in different settings and moods.
Ballads are special to me but they're not my go to songs. 'My love won't let you down' is so sweet and sad and just so good. And it hits harder this year in particular (i don't think i need to mention how fucked up 2020 has been). Also, Perrie said she likes to think they're singing the words to eachother and that just melts my heart. Their friendship is Little Mix's best thing after their voices.
The US doesn’t! You’re right! I live here and people don’t understand how magical and amazing they are. They are still the biggest girl band in my mind honestly globally. Their last 2 albums were so fire. This one had a lot to live up to and honestly it did. It’s so good

My favourite songs (excluded the ones we've already heard) are Gloves Up and Rendezvous. Gloves Up is so different, I absolutely love the lyrics and that chorus just does it for me. The vocals are insane and the prrr up put ya put ya gloves up is so catchy Rendezvous is just so sexy. Got me thinking about filthy things which I'm not going to describe😩 Breathe was such a let down for me...probably my least favourite of the album together with Holiday

unpopular opinion: a mess (happy 4 u) is the best song, but apart from that most non-singles or non-promotional singles just weren’t that good IN MY OPINION. definitely not my favourite album from them and i expected more from them after hearing sweet melody and happiness
I feel the same! I was actually really disappointed when I first heard the album. I felt like all their best songs had been released in advance. And honestly, Rendezvous is just terrible (the music itself). But I like Gloves Up and A Mess though.

The album as a whole isn’t their best, I had higher expectations after LM5. Its a GROWER! My favorites are Gloves, My Love won’t..., if you want my love, and of course sweet melody.
I like the album but just ok. All the songs have soo much going on its difficult to hear what the song really sounds like if that makes sense. Like i have my favorite parts from all of the songs but idk if i like any of the full songs except happiness. Leighanne and Jade are a serve but idk.
For me personally i think : 1. Break up song (8/10) - it’s a fun and dance pop song, each girl shine and i really love the 80’s kinda vibe and the bridge where jade’s growl gets me 😍 2. Holiday (10/10) This is my top song. I really love how each girl shine too in this track. The chorus and the hook are so good in a way I can’t describe 😍 3. Sweet melody (9/10) Ooh at first i was like yes i love this song but the MV brought me to the next level 😍 and also the do-doo-do. Every girls got their moment too. * let’s bring the MV to 100M mixers 4. Confetti (8/10) It’s very catchy and i really love the chorus it’s a bop. And the bridge is also so good when jade sings the “i~ cant kill my vibe~” 5. Happiness (8/10) When the girls harmonise “ooooooooh” before the chorus my wigs are gone 👩🦲 the lyrical content also gets me 6. Not a pop song (7/10) I really love the lyrical content in this, the girls are fed up with their past labels and stuff and now they have creative control. It’s not my fav but it’s a song where i would sing along to 7. Nothing but my feelings (6/10) The girls shine equally too and basically it’s like not a pop song but i will still sing along 8. Gloves up (8/10) I really love “prrrr up” and jesy’s pre chorus cuz jesy voice is so sexy. The ding before chorus is also a shock but it fits so well with the song. The chorus is legendary (i said what i said) it gives me power (Glory Days) and more than words (LM5) vibe, but the song miss a potential bridge. For me this song is more carried by lerrie 9. A mess (happy 4 u) (9/10) My top song as well. Perrie opens up so good with sing / talk and jade falsetto 😍. Jesy sudden bridge fits so well cuz from what i interpret, this is a song where you are sad cuz your ex has moved on and you are trying to act tough and sexy but you are still sad inside, so the contrast between jesy bridge and other parts of the song really brings out the theme for this song. This is the perfect combination for happy, sad and twerk imo 😂 This song is carried (meaning lead not make the song better) by everyone except jesy 10. My love wont let you down (9/10) SISTER TO TOLD YOU SO (LM5) 😭 i really love this track cuz i can feel that they are singing to each other and to the fans as well . “Trust me my love wont let u down” gets me everytime 😢 11. Rendezvous (7/10) It’s like not a pop song and nothing but my feelings i will sing along but it’s not my fav. But the part when jesy sang “tempo get to the crescendo” i love THAT PART so much. I’m happy that this track are divided equally but Jesy should be the one who carry (as in lead) more cuz her sexy voice fits this song so well 12. If you want my love (9/10) LOVE WHEN THE “if you want my love” kicks in. The girls shine equally. They really throw it back with this track cuz there are not tracks like this currently and when they bring it back they absolutely smash it and also the “do-doo-do” part 😍 13. Breathe (8/10) BEST WAY TO END THE ALBUM IMO. The mid tempo kinda sad vibe really is one of the way to close the album. I really love the bridge where they sing it acapella ooh the harmonies 😍 Overall it’s a no skip album (except sometimes “my love wont let you down” when I’m not in a mood to get sad 😂) LM5 is definitely the best album from them but for me Confetti is an album where i can sing along to every track and get into the vibe easily to listen whereas i need to get into the mood for some tracks in LM5 Lmk if yall hv the same thoughts

I agree on Nothing But my Feelings sounding a little too playful/innocent, but apparently that’s what they were going for when they wrote the song. It was intended to be really filthy (dirty) lyrics but in an innocent/nursery sound.

Well I had the same reaction as you. I freaking loved Rendezvous and If you want my love at first but now that I listened carefully with headphones Gloves Up, Confetti and A Mess grew up on me. Breathe and Nothing but my feelings still don't get me but I hope they do because the concepts are really cool. Overall I think this is their most cohesive album and the influences they use are sick maybe that's why my favs are Rendezvous and IYWML
honestly i was kinda disappointed that there weren’t really ballads on this album. i mean, “my love won’t let you down” is a balled, but it just wasn’t it for me. i am in love with secret love song, good enough, love me or leave me, nobody like you, little me, and these four walls😭
I was really impressed with the first singles they released (besides break up song that one didn't do it for me) but the second half I found to just be kinda meh. I was really hoping that with the split from syco we were going to see a huge transformation and something more mature which I did get from a few of the songs but other than that it was just generic pop songs with generic lyrics. I don't know maybe it will grow on me.
I found someone who shares my opinion. I was disappointed too. LM5 is even better than this and they are not in a new label.I still love the girls but lyrically songs in here contradicted "not a pop song" concept wise I thought they were going for that theme where they have enough of songs about break up and cliche love songs but literally almost every song on the other half of talks about that. There is nothing wrong about that but I though we are gonna get a Women's world 2.0 or Strip 2.0 or Cure a more self love, women empowerment, friendship centered songs. I am actually a lil afraid of expressing my opinion cause people may attack me for it but I was really disappointed. Sorry for ranting to you here I just don't have anyone to tell it to. I just thought new label would mean better songs lyrically. I will still support them though.
@@ayvidyan I couldn't agree more. LM5 just sounded so much more dynamic and mature and like you said most the songs on Confetti were cheesy love/break up songs. And none of the songs on this album compare to wasabi, think about us, notice, american boy, etc. LM5 just had so many strong songs. I really loved not a pop song because it sounded really different than their other songs and I was hoping this album was going in that direction. I love happiness, sweet melody and confetti too but the others just aren't anything special. Hopefully this is just them adjusting to their new label and we get something awesome from them next time.

Every fan is entitled to their personal opinion cause after all we're the consumers who will eventually buy (or not) the album. It think constructive criticism is important and it doesn't invalidates our love for the girls. A lot of artists have actually put out amazing content despite the pandemic (although I understand it might be more difficult for a group who doesn't live together). Perhaps the girls should've delayed the album for next year and dropped invididual singles, like 'Bounce Back', to just to keep fans engage. Maybe that way there wouldn't be so much expectations and pressure.

As for what i said in the first comment, destructive criticism can come later, mixers should stick to buying nd streaming nd promoting the album as hard as they can first week of release at least, if u dont rlly like the album, u can keep it to urself until afterwards, cuz it’s called DESTRUCTIVE, it may destroy ppl’s feelings including the girls.
A true fan wouldnt criticize his idols’ whole album just because the songs’ lengths are not satisfying on its first day of release (which btw happened)

Honestly LM5 is still their best album in my opinion. I like Confetti but it does not match up with how conceptually good LM5 is, the empowerment, messages of friendship and the new sounds still makes it one of my fave album from a group. I still enjoyed Confetti but I wanted a more lyrically matured songs . Idk why but it does not resonates to me like LM5 does. Also this is all just my opinion I don't hate the girls I still want all the best for them. I like your honesty btw. It is what I like about your channel.

confetti is my freakin favourite out of the album... it's so amazing... to be honest i've got to say that the singles that were pre-released were much better than the rest of the album :/... but still i have to applaud their vocals, they are insane.. and also their effort... i think it's a good start in a new record label.. i'm hoping for more goodness in the future.. and who knows probably with more listens, the other songs will grow on me more like always

I also love My love won't let you down cause they just can't do a balade wrong. Rendevous unfortunely sounds a lot like some songs on LM5, like American boy or something, not too original.

i've only listened to it once so far, but honestly this era kinda felt anticlimactic. i didn't really like break up song or sweet melody too much, but i loved holiday. a lot of these songs just sound too much for me, and i totally agree with you on the not wanting to listen to slow songs when i need a pick-me-up. i love the girls but this album just wasn't it for me, LM5 will always be my fav LOL. also i love how honest you were!

I totally agree if I'm being honest I am a bit disappointed cause LM5 set the bar so high for me that I thought they could still top that. I still love the girls but the replay value of some of the songs in this is not there for me. Also message wise LM5 hits so many points that I could talk about all day. LM5 is still their best album.

Everyone could have been talking about them if they were given the promo they deserve. They still have so much more years on their way, I hope and I believe they'll have their time. I am watching lots of reaction videos for confetti and like other LM albums not everyone has the same taste so they have different favorites and not so into songs. It shows more about the personality of the individual reactor, and art is personal so we don't always agree on the interpretation of the music. But can we agree that this album has the quality, the diversity, the range, the vocals, the production, the choreo (for the videos) and more, so we can all find somethings that we really love from it, and which will grow on us with more listens in different settings and moods.

Ballads are special to me but they're not my go to songs. 'My love won't let you down' is so sweet and sad and just so good. And it hits harder this year in particular (i don't think i need to mention how fucked up 2020 has been). Also, Perrie said she likes to think they're singing the words to eachother and that just melts my heart. Their friendship is Little Mix's best thing after their voices.

The US doesn’t! You’re right! I live here and people don’t understand how magical and amazing they are. They are still the biggest girl band in my mind honestly globally. Their last 2 albums were so fire. This one had a lot to live up to and honestly it did. It’s so good

I feel the same! I was actually really disappointed when I first heard the album. I felt like all their best songs had been released in advance. And honestly, Rendezvous is just terrible (the music itself). But I like Gloves Up and A Mess though.

My top song as well. Perrie opens up so good with sing / talk and jade falsetto 😍. Jesy sudden bridge fits so well cuz from what i interpret, this is a song where you are sad cuz your ex has moved on and you are trying to act tough and sexy but you are still sad inside, so the contrast between jesy bridge and other parts of the song really brings out the theme for this song. This is the perfect combination for happy, sad and twerk imo 😂 This song is carried (meaning lead not make the song better) by everyone except jesy

It’s like not a pop song and nothing but my feelings i will sing along but it’s not my fav. But the part when jesy sang “tempo get to the crescendo” i love THAT PART so much. I’m happy that this track are divided equally but Jesy should be the one who carry (as in lead) more cuz her sexy voice fits this song so well

LOVE WHEN THE “if you want my love” kicks in. The girls shine equally. They really throw it back with this track cuz there are not tracks like this currently and when they bring it back they absolutely smash it and also the “do-doo-do” part 😍

BEST WAY TO END THE ALBUM IMO. The mid tempo kinda sad vibe really is one of the way to close the album. I really love the bridge where they sing it acapella ooh the harmonies 😍
Overall it’s a no skip album (except sometimes “my love wont let you down” when I’m not in a mood to get sad 😂) LM5 is definitely the best album from them but for me Confetti is an album where i can sing along to every track and get into the vibe easily to listen whereas i need to get into the mood for some tracks in LM5

I agree on Nothing But my Feelings sounding a little too playful/innocent, but apparently that’s what they were going for when they wrote the song. It was intended to be really filthy (dirty) lyrics but in an innocent/nursery sound.
I wasn’t feeling Nothing but my feelings the first few listens, but when it finally clicked I came to like it a lot.

Well I had the same reaction as you. I freaking loved Rendezvous and If you want my love at first but now that I listened carefully with headphones Gloves Up, Confetti and A Mess grew up on me. Breathe and Nothing but my feelings still don't get me but I hope they do because the concepts are really cool. Overall I think this is their most cohesive album and the influences they use are sick maybe that's why my favs are Rendezvous and IYWML

I was really impressed with the first singles they released (besides break up song that one didn't do it for me) but the second half I found to just be kinda meh. I was really hoping that with the split from syco we were going to see a huge transformation and something more mature which I did get from a few of the songs but other than that it was just generic pop songs with generic lyrics. I don't know maybe it will grow on me.

LM5 is even better than this and they are not in a new label.I still love the girls but lyrically songs in here contradicted "not a pop song" concept wise I thought they were going for that theme where they have enough of songs about break up and cliche love songs but literally almost every song on the other half of talks about that. There is nothing wrong about that but I though we are gonna get a Women's world 2.0 or Strip 2.0 or Cure a more self love, women empowerment, friendship centered songs. I am actually a lil afraid of expressing my opinion cause people may attack me for it but I was really disappointed. Sorry for ranting to you here I just don't have anyone to tell it to. I just thought new label would mean better songs lyrically. I will still support them though.
@@ayvidyan I couldn't agree more. LM5 just sounded so much more dynamic and mature and like you said most the songs on Confetti were cheesy love/break up songs. And none of the songs on this album compare to wasabi, think about us, notice, american boy, etc. LM5 just had so many strong songs. I really loved not a pop song because it sounded really different than their other songs and I was hoping this album was going in that direction. I love happiness, sweet melody and confetti too but the others just aren't anything special. Hopefully this is just them adjusting to their new label and we get something awesome from them next time.
