What is a 2D Layout Artist?

An adventurous new series of the AnimDojo podcast called "What actually is a..." If you've ever seen a job title and wondered what that person does on a day-to-day basis, the aim of this series is to answer that question. In this episode, we speak to two fantastic 2D Layout Artists. Be honest... do you ACTUALLY know what a 2D Layout Artist does?? We know layout is essential to make a 2D show look good and in this episode, we look to debunk the idea that 2D Layout is "boring" and explore some of the skills needed to do this important job.

Great podcast man. All your questions were great. One thing i still not have clear is do these layout artists only draw these backgrounds or they have to design these backgrounds too? Because learning to draw takes time but its doable but learning to design takes a hell lot of time. And please do a podcast on bacground painters too. Anyways subsribed u
