I went to a GW I've never been before today. I couldn't believe my eyes I couldn't breathe. It was a "Sister" Glassy baby. Only 99 cents. I still can't believe it.
14:50 AC Moore story! When my son was little, we did the same except he played in the train section. We also went to Barnes & Nobles for free Lego play! Must be a teacher thing! We know how to find free and/or cheap! 👍😁
I worked at AC Moore. Everybody played with those hard animals, fairies and figurines. The most annoying thing to do was to straighten out the bins that held them. All the kids played with them and very few were returned to their proper places! I'm sure that wasn't you or Jenny!
4:55, I have that plate in pinks, greens, and blue's with the Japan marking, I use it for my Spring time dishes, I loved the red wavey glasses, so delicate I can see why they would be scary to ship.
I wish these Goodwill stores would price the items reasonably so people would buy them. Things sit, get broken and they end up at the Bins or in the landfills. They could make more money by actually selling the items at a "donated" price.
The soup tureen would be more appealing with a plant in it than soup, lol. This shopping trip had a lot of variety and things I hadn't seen before. TFS Dagny💙🩵🤍 🦢🪴 Put a plant in it. 😆
Hi Dagny, just wanted to mention that the poinsettia is indigenous to Mexico and Central America. So, the pronunciation is poyn-seh-tee-uh, four syllables. Cheers!
The seagull picture had the same plain frame that I bought back in 1973 when I was 11. Someone had given me a $1 and I spent the $1 on it. Then a little time later I found a picture that fit it for $.10 and I just loved it. I’m so glad you bought the 2 containers (1 with its top and one without its top.). I thought they were beautiful!! Then you went and move the one bell to where the others were and right there was a beautiful Teapot. I love white teapots or close to white. You bought great items!! Thx!!☺️🐬
Was that a Fitz & Floyd plate next to the baggie of vintage sewing items?? I simply love to watch your videos as I learn so much 😍 I hope to meet you one day and get your autograph 🤞 Keep up the great work! 💜
A great treasure hunt, as always! I just bought a little pocket-sized black light for myself... such fun to test the glass, even if it DOESN'T glow! 😊 Thanks again ~ Amy 😍
A packing tip for the mirror is to wrap large pieces of cardboard around it as you wrap the bubble wrap. Basically 2 layers of bubble wrap then the 2 cardboard pieces, one on each side, that are just a little larger than the mirror itself then another few layers of bubble wrap. Hope that helps.
I just watched another reseller’s video from that Goodwill - I recognized some things she looked at….poinsettia stained glass box, green painted box and the metal tall spike leaf candle holder on top shelf- Lancaster, right?
Whoever is in charge of Goodwill is crazy. They have ruined Goodwill. I used to buy a lot of my 3 sons clothes there. I bought a lot of toys there. I stayed home to raise my sons. Without Goodwill and all the other thrift stores I would have had to work. Shame on all these stores for being greedy and money hungry. 😱😡🤬. Goodwill is too high for me. I don’t go anymore.
They are pricing themselves right out of business. Resellers are going to stop going there and people who need to go there won’t be able to buy there. They get the stuff for free so they don’t need to be so greedy.
Goodwill has high overhead with rent, heat, lights, insurance. And they provide a service by providing self-esteem by employing people who could not be employed elsewhere. I love Dagney, but Goodwill does not exist to provide resellers a living. Step back and look at the big pucture. Prices are much higher everywhere so operating costs have escalated as well. Goodwill gave years of joy to my brother being able to have a job. Seriously, you need to open your minds wider.
I still don’t agree with what you said. Goodwill skims the higher quality items to put on their website at higher market prices. The stuff they leave out on the floor is lower quality and often damaged But they still price these items at ridiculous prices.
Love when you shop. I never know exactly if you picked up the item until the end. By the way I like that your daughter really seems to enjoy the shopping trips. She seems very mature. Love the doggies too.
The bag of vintage sewing notions would have been hard to resist, the price was better than I've seen around here for a long time & it's getting hard to find really "vintage" notions. The uranium glass was everything.
I have a very old piece of uranium Beach glass with history. It cost me 17 dollars. I am a collector and do not care if I want a treasure. It came from a little shop.

🐷🧡Hi Dagny, THANKS for the shopping trip. I hope that you had a nice weekend. Sending HUGS!🧡🐖
I would have loved to find the bag with all the vintage sewing notions! ❤

Another wonderful shopping video...thank you for taking us along!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed
Nice shopping adventure! Loved the stain glass mirror. Haven't been to the Big GW in a while either. Loved the Jenny at AC Moore story.
Love the black Santa boot!
The mirror is beautiful
8:02 John Derian collects antique illustrations and makes collages with them. I sold a paperweight of his.
Love the perfume bottles!
I am a sucker for vintage sewing notions! Love those perfume bottles.

I would have loved the bag of sewing goodies!

I believe those red glasses are made by Morgantown.

The john derian tray was gorgeous 😍
One of my favourite things to thrift…. Vintage sewing notions. ❤

I would have bought all the Betsey Pease for myself

Some of those Goodwill prices are ridiculous. It's like that Here on the eastern shore of Maryland too
The little wooden globe is full of wooden people of different ethnicities/cultures from around the world. Sells for $20.
Was that a Fitz & Floyd plate next to the baggie of vintage sewing items??
I simply love to watch your videos as I learn so much 😍 I hope to meet you one day and get your autograph 🤞 Keep up the great work! 💜
It pays to have your black light along. Thanks for sharing. 🥰

Another great video
. Happy thrifting
Thank you for this nice video💐
Loved that bright orange divided snack plate!
Wonderful finds today!
Awesome fines today. Love the mirror and the glow glass. Thank you for the video and I’ll check you on the next one.
Thanks Dagny! Loved the mirror, the perfume bottles and the uranium glass!
The perfume bottles were my favorite in this episode!

Or cut a pool noodle down the middle & use it for padding:)
I love that mirror! The uranium glass is great too. Great buys.☺
Thank you! 🤗
Cool items, and it was so much fun to shop along with you, Dagny.
🙂👍
Such great finds! I enjoy your videos so much! Thank you.😊
Can't believe you found uranium glass at goodwill! Love it❤️
Me too!!🐷
I just watched another reseller’s video from that Goodwill - I recognized some things she looked at….poinsettia stained glass box, green painted box and the metal tall spike leaf candle holder on top shelf- Lancaster, right?
yes it is 😊
Love your fur babies! The glow glass was awesome!
Thank you!! 😊
Those stir straws are very collectible.
Love the perfume bottles!! Thanks for rescuing both of them!!! Also love the mirror!!! ❤

We call 'things" into our lives, such as the sweetish bag. Interesting. I am a thrifter and hope to pick like you!
Nice haul🥰
Thank you! 🤗
Love the video ❤️❤️
You had me at GLOW ❤😂
Funny how there are items that are older and they have just gone out of popularity so they don't sell for much.
Sometimes it's boring not buying anyting
She does buy stuff. If you watch the whole video she showes the thing at the end🤷♀️
I did purchase items.
❤️🙃
hello
Now I want Jello
Danish Dessert is so much better.
Danish Dessert is pretty tasty!!
I wonder why Goodwill or other thrift stores put stickers over the name on bottom. They know people are going to peel it off.
I think the same thing🐷
I think its madness the prices of the things that they got for free so greedy of goodwill more like greedywill
What the heck is so special about that glowing glass???? 🤔
It glows!
I believe it is called uranium or Vaseline glass. People collect it and often put on display with a black light. They are vintage pieces.
Made in the , 1920’s, 1930’s
I have a very old piece of uranium Beach glass with history. It cost me 17 dollars. I am a collector and do not care if I want a treasure. It came from a little shop.
