Speed up PS2-400FPS on 60FPS Display/This is not a 2 min Video fix

8 Core AMD with RTX-3060-12 (do not buy a 3060/4060 for PS2) running 1080 monitor It will show 60 FPS but internal PS2 will run at a max of 400FPS.
You can uninstall PhysX in PS2 they don't use it anymore (this helps stop some of the jerking) Dev's have a tiny tiny tiny bit of PhysX in PS2 but it will not crash if removed. Will drop your CPU over head and temp several degrees dumping PhysX and stop some of the stalls. If you don't use Nivida Audio on HDMI uninstall it also as its a cpu hog also. ( these programs run even when your not using it)
If you turn on FSR 1.0 in game it will smooth out all the little jerks even on 1080 monitors. Don't use DLSS or it will cause jerks with an RTX card in PS2. ( if you don't need FSR don't turn it on {quality})
Now for you real OC guys... PS2 loves "Over Clocked RAM" as fast as it can go.
PS2 runs real good on a 4.0 Ghz processor.!! OCing the GPU makes very little difference on 1080 or in game play.
Note: Reduce lag mode -- in the driver - (Ultra settings) PS2 will crash the game from time to time with no error. (game just dies for no reason)
If your GPU is running at 75-80C playing PS2 you did not watch the whole video...!
This will not help most of the VS faction in PS2. VS reaction speed has reached the limit. Only TR and NC does this really help a lot...!
Software Differences: TR / NC have bullet drop code that VS does not have. That little bit of extra software makes a big difference in reaction time in game. In the Old Days when PhysX was ramped in PS2 everyone was limited to 60-70 FPS including VS. But when they removed most of PhysX thats when VS got the edge on TR and NC. If VS had some kind of energy weapon dissipation code, then we could even up the factions.
Trilinear Buffering: This seems to depend on the day of the week the DEV's compiled the code.
In some case it works and other cases not so much. ( I turn it off most of the time now ) for some compiles I put it (on).
**** Driver Max Frame Rate: 60 FPS for most Monitors / 144 / 165 / 240 for the rest of the monitors. see video ( never use in game software to lock 60 FPS ) always use Driver Max Frame Rate:
**** Driver Vertical SYNC: Never us anything but (FAST MODE) see video Never use game software sync. Always use Driver Vertical SYNC ( Nivida Fast Mode) only...!!! (AMD driver use Enhanced Sync for fast mode)
C State: Global C-State in MB can be turned off and it will increase your FPS another 2 to 3 FPS on top of what the other stuff gives you.
Render State: In PS2 software if reduced to around 70% will also reduce delay time.
For New Guys: Planetside 2 PC code has some Playstation 4 / 5 code in it, in the form of graphics using Open GL in parts of the game...!! ( you can test this using some old drivers that allow you to turn off Open GL)
For 16GB of RAM or MORE...!!!!!!!
How to turn off RAM/Memory compression USE: Right Click Mouse on Windows Icon /Click on Windows PowerShell (Admin) type or copy " Disable-MMAgent -mc " (return) don't copy the quotes marks.! NOTE: this works with AMD or Nivida Cards...!
Note: if you have 64GB of RAM in most cases you can turn off Win PAGEFILE also.
Make sure your Mother Board PCIE-subSYSTEM "4G" is turned on. Make sure your BIOS has it. This is used to extend your Video Card memory to run past the 4GB limit of old Vcards. If it is turned off your Vcard is limited to 4GB of memory used in old windows 32 bit stuff.
Mother Board - "10bit Tag Support" will increase your GPU speed by 1-3 % if turned on. Auto Mode = OFF; This will not work with old M.2 drives. The hardware needs to be Gen4 or 5 / Amazing Graphics with this on, if your running a 10bit monitor in 10 bit mode Vcard. This is a must do for Nivida GEN4 cards.
Video Editor (render time will decrease ) 3x FASTER with 10bit Tag turned ON. (Tested on Corel)
Virtualization: turn it OFF in the BIOS again this will speed up your FPS. Its on by DEFAULT.
Audio: Never run audio channels above 55 or you may crash. ( lower is better for FPS speed )
If you want to smooth out the video you can turn on multi-frame MFAA but you loose a little FPS. 8+ cores work better. For a 1080@60 Hz monitor it is super smooth.
Remember to watch the Video for the "UserOption.ini" file changes what they do and how they work.
Remember to *** RESTART your PC ** after you TURN OFF the "MEMORY Compression...."
