- This video is a tutorial for this crochet kit by Needle Creations. I got it at Hobby Lobby. This is meant to show beginner crocheters how to follow the pattern provided by these kits. This video covers the head. I am not affiliated with Needle Creations; I just like making things.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Psalm 143:8
thank you so much! my mind went blank when I tried to crochet with the instructions and I kept looking at the abbreviations, but this video has helped me create bella.
You're welcome! I'm really happy to hear it!
Thank you but needs zoom at times
You are welcome. I know the stiches can be hard to see sometimes, but the GoPro I'm using doesn't have zoom, unfortunately!
thank you so much for making these videos ☺️☺️ as a beginner, they are incredibly helpful!!
You're welcome! I really enjoy when beginners let me know if the videos are helpful, so thank you for letting me know. I hope you are very happy with how your project turns out!
I actually didmt have a problem with running out of the yellow color. I had a little bit extra actually.
Thank you for letting me know! I'm always so curious how other people's kits turn out. A couple of times I have wondered if I somehow bought a return.
Thank you so much I started on this one and you helped me a lot❤!
You're welcome! I hope you keep crocheting, it can be so satisfying.
I don’t have a stitch marker Stich marker so will it still work if I don’t have one? Or what can I use if I don’t have it?
Yes it will still work, there are other things you can use. A stitch marker is just something to place in a stitch (either the first or last of the round) when working in the round so that you know where the beginning of your row is. You could use a piece of yarn, or a bobby pin, a twist tie from like a loaf of bread- anything that you can slide into the stitch and secure in some way (so it doesn't fall out) and then remove.
@@nittlesandnattles thank you!
@@custombeadbracelets You're welcome! I hope you are pleased with how it turns out!
I'm having so much trouble I'm very confused this is my first time
It can be very confusing at first. What do you need help with? I have a video that goes over the basics and how to read patterns, which might help you get started.
Hello, my bee head is too wide, I followed all the steps and counted! How can I shape the head to be more round?
Do you mean it is wider than it is tall? So it's more oval than round?
When you insert the hook into the stitch before you pull the loop should there be 1 row of yarn on the hook or 2 rows of yarn? 🧶
So the head for the bee is done in single crochet. In single crochet, you have one loop on your hook when you insert into the stitch. After you hook the yarn and pull the loop up, you have two loops on your hook. So if you haven't pulled the loop yet, there should be one row of yarn, if row means loop on your hook. I hope I understood and answered you clearly.
This is sooo helpful!!! Question though, how are you filming this? haha
I'm glad to hear that it helps! I am wearing a GoPro in a headband type mount. I have been wondering lately if I should try a tripod type because it might allow a closer view.
well i think that the video is phenomenol, and thanks for responding so promptly!!@@nittlesandnattles
