Yea, one of those towns you can take your time and walk and explore all the little shops. During the tourist season you can also take a street car ride.
You mention Millwood a few times. Millwood is just a little piece of Spokane valley. I grew up there till I was 9. To get there, you would take the Argonne exit off I-90 and left on Argonne. You be going through Millwood in about a mile or less..Spokane river runs through it under the Argonne bridge. Used to walk across the bridge to the 7-11 to get a slurpee!! The old bridge was narrow and scary. Great VID!! OH!!! You didn't stop at Effie's Burger in Lewiston!! Google Effie's. Love Nelson, also!
Havans street is the border between Spokane and Spokane Valley. Millwood is a small naberhud that is surrounded by the Spokane Valley but is independent as it is listed as a Town city hall and police fire post office.
Been driving down the Lewiston grade for about 25 years! Seen a lot of out of state truckers end in up in the running ramps! Going to fast and wasting their brakes on the grade? I've seen it snowing in uniontown which is 9 miles from Lewiston? Going down the grade to Lewiston and the sun was shining and people in Clarkston are golfing! In February with short sleeve shirts? That part of the country is called the banana belt! Go east from Lewiston to weipe , to grangeville they will have snow up to their knees? This was on the same day! I drive truck out of spokane
@@JuanRempel most nights -10 here at swan hills, day temps average 0c to +4. we still have average snow yet. snow right here is like mountain weather, high elevation. sorry i did not get back to you sooner. Take care Juan. Nice Returns on replys. Iam 65 right leg issues, use cane. Just gave back my class1 not to long ago. Again take care. kee from swan hills.
Just when you were asking about the boundary between spokane and spokane valley! The Sprague exit off I-90! Millwod at one time had its own town cop! It is just north of the freeway dishman is south! I-90 is the border for each community! Their is also opportunity, veardale, and further east liberty lake, and Otis orchards? Again I-90 board s those to communities Otis north liberty lake south!
I’m from Lewiston! Those roundabouts are all new, and all a pain in the ass! I’m curious what you thought about coming down the Lewiston Hill for the first time. I hear it’s just great fun for truckers 🤣
I deliver to Boise sometimes so I have come down the hill before, but my first time was much much slower because wow, what a hill. Wonder how often those run away lanes get used.
I might be wrong am Probly am! The starting point of the Lewiston grade scale, to.the bridge crossing the clearwater river? Is a 1900 very difference? I seen 50 degrees in Lewiston/clarkston. And 30 miles away in Pullman washington it is 25 degrees! Snowing windy and the road s are just plain nasty! One of the wonderful things about living here! All four seasons in one day
Pullman elevation is 2400 feet! Lewiston is 850 above sea level! That Probly why lewis and Clark state has such a great baseball tradition? They can start early and play outside before anybody else? Also they had a hall of fame coach in ed chef. Having won 19 national championship s in naia baseball!
3:32 Turning right on 10th street would've been the better route. If you wanted to avoid all the traffic and traffic lights. I live in Clarkston. Across the river from Lewiston.
I do not, breakfast is usually some Garnola bars with cold water. Lunch is a toasted sandwich, sausage or chicken. Super is a real meal. Pulled pork, chicken breast, or ground beef with a side of beans. All home made by Jess and put into meal size ziplock bags. The freezer is full of zip lock bags.
Very enjoyable thankyou
A little surprise sounds great
Great pass/overtaking the other truck
Nelson has some nice and interesting homes

Awesome, yea, UA-cam comments are being laged out by about 20mins, so YT is having some issues.
Millwood is in spokane valley! Named after the papermill at the spokane river!
It's a grey old day. It is here too.
Another enjoyable video. Must visit Nelson. Looks very old town.

Spokane is well worth a several day visit. There are pretty impressive waterfalls on the river right downtown.
Hmmm, I did not know that.

That looks like really good food, might be tricky truck parking
You were in the trentwood area! The spokane industrial park!

Havens street, ill try to remember that
Then you be climbing up the hill you will be in the bigelow mulch area! Then north to 395 and Canada keep safe good video
Bigelow gulch area.not mulch? Dumb phone
Thanks. I'm looking forward to that new freeway north to be completed in...... forever from now.
i hung out till the end lol thanks bud have a good one and looking forward to the extra stuff tomorrow.
If you didn't like the new Lewiston grade you should have been around when we had to climb the "Old Spiral Hiway". It was way too much fun!
Mike
Isn't that road still there? Or is that a different road that's there now still, I was hoping to take it with my car some day.
Yup, the road is still there and open. It's a kick now that I don't have to go up and down it in a tanker.
Mike
Cool, I'll give it a try one day, in my pickup.

I always say that if you don't know the hill, go down it to slow. Been running the 95 a few times now, and your right, the weather sure changes fast.
Industrial Park is in the Spokane Valley, your correct.
So Spokane is really a lot further west then it feels
good trip Juan, viewing date april-08-21, still awesome views, take care, kee from swan hills
You guys still below 0c?

Kind of like Geater Vancouver in BC, all the cities have merged together to form a huge city.
So out of curiosity, is by any chance your "." button broken on your keyboard?
I live in clarkston
I have never been through yet, but so close.
Be safe and take care of yourself
If You were in Lewiston Idaho, Clarkston is just across the bridge on 12.
it's farther west than you would expect. most of the urban section of I90 is spokane valley
I guess everyone just calls it Spokane

Have you ever had a chance to drive down (not in your truck) the old Lewiston Hill? That is fun!
I don't think so, but I can't keep straight what I have traveled in my 4 wheeler.
It would be noisy living so close to the h'way. Over here they erect heavy fences to cut down on noise.
🐨 Good evening Juan
See you tomorrow 👋
I'm still green. Maybe tomorrow I'll turn Cyan
It's showing cyan on my end, but honestly it looks very close to the green, colors are to similar

So my GPS wasn't crazy.
I think I've done an all-time record on comments tonight
Makes this feel more like a 2 way conversation
Thake a look at Google maps you can get to the New us 395 and us 2 from Sullivan rd
hello there from idaho. how are you doing. families doing well. how your doing ok out there, hope your hanging in there. have a great day.
Doing OK, always get lonely by the end of the week. Talking to you guys helps. So glad my company gets me home every weekend.
Have you ever driven one of those trucks?
It looks like Petabuilt has good acceleration.?
Yea, I'm going to miss this truck
We do have a squeak. That's OK
Seems I have found you a question or two today
Why do those trucks that have a very long noose, like that?
No idea, my new Kenworth will have a big nose
Did I miss something or the squeak just disappeared 🤔
Seems to come and go
Goodbye Swift truck
Poor bloke breaking down in that spot.
CB ?
CB, I'm guessing your asking about the CB (citizen band) radio. It's like a walkie-talkie with longer range.
@@JuanRempel no sorry I meant the noise in the cab
And another 😁
Do you make a cuppa in the mornings?
I don't know what that is
@@JuanRempel I wondered. A cup of tea or coffee.?

@@JuanRempel Sounds good. I'm sure Jess provides you with good food for your nightly meal. Although not having a cuppa (tea) would be terrible for me.
I think a small Kettle in here is a good idea.
Dumb phone it's bigelow gulch! Not mulch the to north spokane to 395 then Canada
