Sounds make or break a game like Squad or PS. Sometimes when I get caught in the open no expecting to be shelled, I'll actually duck IRL from being scared shitless of the amazing sound design.
@@SnuffySpaghetti I am not an expert however I think people would be pretty disappointed by what some sounds are in "real". Sure an artillery barrage will be impressive. But when I look at WW2 footages and army training today ... it really doesn't seem to be THAT impressive like as how it is depicted in movies. Most of the time there is no huge fire when explosives go up. Like from a shell or grenade. Even with artillery there seems to be a lot more dust and debris flying around. Not even tanks seem to explode THAT often. From what I can read, once a tank was hit the crew would usually bail out and the tank would either burn out or simply abandoned. Movies and games make a lot of changes for dramatic effect I suppose.
@@orensilgon5542 They weren't rekted by the Russians, they were losing due to lack of resources, the Soviets were conscripts charged into combat without basic training while fighting a soldier trained 3 years in the Academy
@@friedhelmwinter1237 Next on the list seems to be Operation Torch from the new teaser, or maybe Sicily. Torch is far more likely from the footage. It seems they are going for battles with less coverage when it comes to video games, and North Africa or Sicily would continue that trend.

MrWilhelm... For one, Wittmann was killed near Caen, an area where only British forces were operating. Two, there were no CAS aircraft operating in the area. Wittmann made a surprise attack on a British convoy and his tank was destroyed by a Sherman Firefly, a British tank, while he was attempting to make his escape. 15 years of studying WW2 doesn't lie to me.
I remember playing on the Brits team in an EU server and the moment one of our teammates uttered something in German he got rammed into a wall by a speeding jeep

I had 3 germans in the panther I was playing as I had no idea what I was doing or what to say but they asked if I spoke German. I replied "Nein ich kann kein Deutsch sprechen Ich spreche Englisch" with the worst stutter they laughed and started speaking English so I could understand and taught me a bit of the game as a tanker. One of them was nice enough to change positions from gunner to MG and told me to take the gunner. The commander was speaking German to the rest and English to me but when asking to turn or shoot he spoke German since I asked him to. Nice guys I honestly felt I was in a German tank with a German crew and it felt awesome. P.S Ich versuche immer noch Deutsch zu lernen :) aber ich bin schlecht darin :P

the first minute is so satisfying, the commander off and away from the tank to scout out the enemy tanks and still be able to direct by visualizing the clock coordinates of where the stug shot to where he deeds to traverse, would love to serve under sutch competent command xD
@@Astraben they'd have to balance it with aa vehicles. However, this game is already PTSD simulator, imagine the panic when you're held down in a building as infantry and a wirbelwind comes rolling around the corner
@@CrazyDutchguys Thing is AA can't be everywhere at once and infantry have no defense. Not only buildings, a lot of PS happens around a position and planes would just demolish everything outside it
@@Astraben that depends on how planes are implemented. You cant do it too realistically, as you cant really have pilots fly 45 minutes towards the AO and then back al the way, once they have dropped their ordinance, that would be the insanely boring. But also not allowing them to easily and quickly rearm ordinance. If a balance like on that is struck, they'd be unlikely to be too overpowered, as well as it being very difficult to identify targets from a cockpit. I'm aware the devs said they wont be doing aircraft, I do however think that its possible if the right balancing factors are considered
You can tell that these two men have played over 100 games together. They synchronize with each other on every part of their warfare mechanics and communication. Want to be as good as them? Take it 100 % serious and find a good tankdriver.

Stug looks like a good assault gun, said it was feared more than the tigers since they killed tanks and vehicles more than tigers, panthers, or panzer said ever did. You think that after the war some would try to make a similar vehicle into their military.
