Julian Savea - Wadaplaya! Not only his this guy Big & Powerful but he also possesses exceptional speed and ball handling skills. Rare to have a player with all these skills simultaneously. Awesome player!
There is an awe factor when seeing this guy run, it's raw power and pace to suit that makes him such a devastating player. And as an added bonus, by the looks of, there's some logic in his game. I would definitely say, with players like him and others in the NZ squad and, the inevitable return of SBW, the ABs are looking rather certain to defend the RWC 2015.
Logic is the biggest difference in Saveas and Lomus game. Lomu for all his awesome power and pace did lack the IQ that Savea has. Savea picks when to run and when shuffle it on and when to take the tackle. And defensively not many can pass him.
Please make more of these in the future as im sure he will have plenty more highlights as the years go on. Hes my Fav player tied with lomu. Great Vid!!
No Way is he better than Lomu, the strategy for the all blacks back then was pass it to Lomu. Savea doesn't command that much respect because he is not as great. He cant do what Lomu can do.
Paul Willie If Lomu played now with the same skillset and professionalism as current All Blacks without the sickness he would be unstoppable, but he isn't. Savea is a far more complete player and other teams are far better than yesteryears.
