Possibly the best looking pit viper, and one of the most beautiful snakes I've ever seen, the vibrant emerald green really sets it apart from other snakes along with that red tail. To think you guys still produce documentary style videos on UA-cam for us to watch for free, keep up the good work.

Sabah pit viper: Let me go or feel my venom. Gecko: So you have chosen death
11:19 the snake looking straight at the camera, that is VERY intimidating! The snake is gorgeous. Black and green pair beautifully together. I was expecting it to strike the camera at that moment.
"He's a grump gecko"
That's what happens when you don't save 15% or more on your car insurance by switching to Geico
I saved over $3,500 by switching my car into reverse and leaving.
I'm fairly certain the gorgeous Sabah pit viper was swearing up a storm at you, Mark! But as you say, it's justified! The grumpy gecko too, for that matter. I have an almost identical reaction to anyone who wakes me up, unless they have a cup of coffee in their hand. 😅
UNDERATED COMMENT😂😂😂😂😂😂
😅 I mean I don't speak parseltongue but I'm pretty sure there was some shots against his mama and the horse he rode in on too!
@@brandibastian4193 I concur.
That snake is like I was sleeping what do want man.
9:37 that’s such a beautiful green colour.
This is so cool. So happy you guys got permission to look at not only the unique toad but this beautiful snake! I love the vibrancy you find in vipers, I can’t believe this one is so unheard of. Keep up the awesome work crew!
3:13 I can't when the gecko won't let go of mark😂
The only Venoms I know from Snakes are
Neurotoxin
Hemotoxin
Cytotoxin
&
Proteolytic
Now you’ve got me curious with “Mysterious Venom”
And cardiotoxin
@@Reptoknight I did figure that I missed one & maybe more
Malcolm's pitviper is a Trimeresurus. So it is hemotoxin. Likely similar to Trimeresurus sumatranus.
It's probably similar to the other pit vipers in its genus, most of those green bean pit vipers from SE Asia pack very potent venom, on the upper end of toxicity among vipers and rivaling some Elapids.
all of the above
Mangshan Vipers are up there too, tho more probably in captivity than in the wild. Paradise Flying Snakes are absolutely gorgeous, along with the Red Headed Krait, Cave Dwelling Beauty snakes... Lot of really beautiful snakes out there, and thats without getting into the amazing captive examples or just very pretty morphs. Green (Blue) Tree Pythons and Emerald or Amazon Tree Boas. Rough Scale Pit viper and Rhino Vipers are some of my favs. Blue Insularis too.
That is one gorgeous snake! Incredible shades of green!
The happiness on his face when he found the snake after searching for so long tells everything how unique the snake is.
Genuinely most beautiful snake I've ever seen
Thanks for coming to Malaysia! Love this discovery, this snake is indeed stunning.
Apologize for the multiple comments, but just wanted to confirm, I already think snakes are cool, but you're right, now I think they're even cooler! Gorgeous!😮😊
Wait, you found it by a landslide? I thought it was on a tree beside a hill! 😉😏
Thanks for another exciting episode!

MARK: Let's search for the hardest snake to find in all of Asia in the dark of night.
Cameraman: Fantastic idea Mark! 😅
mark takes a bite cameraman : does it hurt? Mark: keep the camera rolling 😂😂😂
What a unique and gorgeous snake. Brilliant stuff as always. A couple of suggestions for your next rare snake documentary:
1. Naja christyi (Congo water cobra)
2. Oenpelli python
Those creatures are amazing, there was great moments with some of them! The snake that you wanted to find is so beautiful, I definitely noticed the red tail.
Lmao when this guy said,no one have ever filmed an adult Malcomi i instantly knew that these guys have never came across @Ruperts Reptiles channel. That's so funny how he said that 🤣🤣
Love seeing other fans of Rupert or David. They are where I went to watch reptile videos when BW stopped doing their thing. Not sure why coyote and mark don’t film together anymore but either way love hearing more fans of Rupert and David. They may not have the funding as others but they do such good for conservation for reptiles all over Asia. Plus Rupert’s video came out a month ago only, this BW video was filmed many months before that so at the time it was 100% correct. They film and it takes many months to release their videos due to their editing and sponsors etc. but you are absolutely correct Rupert technically beat them to it since he released the video first
@@Damienxavier24yes but! Rupert’s video from a month ago was his second time posting that pit viper.
@@Damienxavier24 Y'all will have to link it then. Because I can't find it.
@ I apologize if I’m wrong mate, but I thought it wasn’t possible to post links anymore to the youtube comment section. Either way his page is called “Rupert’s Reptiles” First video ever to show that snake is called “this will go down on history” it’s about 5 months old.. the newest video with that snake is about a month or 2 old only and it’s Called “it happens on the first night” I hope that helps because it’s worth the watch, plus Rupert and David deserve so much more subscriptions for their love and excitement for these wonderful creatures.
Malcomsi is a cool snake. You could find a Bungarus Flaviceps (Red-headed Krait) on Mount Kinabalu. It is equally as stunning and much, much, much more venomous, but not as aggressive as a pit viper. Easier to handle, probably, too. Very elusive, but worth the hunt to find them.
Bite of a rare snake ❌
Catching a rare snake and showcasing it ✅
Mark: "this bite have never been recorded before we don't know what it does" Us: *"When is he gonna get the bite?"*
@ThickLlama do you❤ King Cobras?
Mark ,mario and the crew i love your videos they are super entertaining just love your channel,be brave- stay wild
The fact that you would do this is CRAZY! All of your videos that you create are just mind blowing! Nobody in my family, nor me, would ever do this! Respect to you for your braveness! 🙏❤😊
3:53 Cicada be like hey I wanna be on camera too
I had to laugh at the gecko biting you, as he seemed to be giving you all he could. I get a lot of skinks where I live and some get quite large, maybe 20cm + and one day I was rescuing one such individual when he turned and bit me! No real power in the bite but it was the first time a skink had bitten me so I dropped it in surprise. Thanks love the show take care.
That is by far the most beautiful snake I've ever seen! Thank you for sharing with us!
What a beautyful snake. The skin and the colors are amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous viper.
Holy cow I've never seen one of those. Such gorgeous colors, scale patterns & the shape of its head is awesome. ~Mark have you ever found a Spider Tailed Horned Viper? They have a coddle lure & insane scale texture
That MPV is one BEAUTIFUL Snake!🐍😍
Was the snake released or did you bring it back to a center where it could be milked so that its venom could be studied?
Good question! 😊
@@DravenGal I’ve seen your multiple comments. Wow I thought I was a huge fan

LET’S GOOOOOOOO NEW MARK’S VIDEO❤❤❤❤
The colorations on this snake is mesmerizing to say the least. Never seen a species like this before, and for them to come across one is truly amazing.
Wow the colouring on that thing! 🐍
Speaking of geckos, I would love to see an episode on Mourning geckos! They're absolutely fascinating! Girl power!😊
If you’re up for a challenge to find a rare snake species, I got one for you: The thread snake! Also known as the blind snake, it’s native to the USA, and they’re super tiny and actually kinda cute.
“Don’t worry ,buddy”
Dont worry…..he’s not worried in the least!lol!
Bro thinks he’s a rattlesnake 1:05
Finally!!! A thumbnail that actually us true!!!
these videos are the coolest on youtube!!! you literally experimenting the unknown nature
you should look for the red head krait or a bushmaster both of these snakes are also highly venomous and extremely rare 🤩🐍
Mangshan viper episode would be awesome
Might be tricky getting a filming permit in China though.
Beautiful snek :3
Some of the info in this seems to be incorrect. 1 - I may be wrong, but the red tail of the viper is probably used to lure prey animals to the tail because it looks like a worm, not used to warn predators of venom. We see this tail luring in many other snakes including pit vipers. 2 - It seems to be a common myth that geckos lick their eyes to keep them moist, because their eye is actually covered with a scale called an eye cap, so when you touch it it is completely dry, like a snake's eyes. They probably just lick them to clean them off.
But overall, great video.
Maybe you could try to find a blue insularis! They are also STUNNING
Wasn’t too thrilled initially with mark doing the videos but he’s came a long way. Seriously rivals any of coyote’s content and definitely the most stunning reptile. And I thought blue eyelash vipers were cool! 😅
WHOAHH 1:50
Spider man bro if got bit by that
I love how the gecko though he could win that fight
“They like it when it’s wet” so do I. Lol
Incredible looking snake, those close up images wow!.
Can you find a Blue Coral Snake?
There’s a video of some dipshit getting bitten by one in Thailand on here if you search for it
That's hands down the coolest snake I've ever seen
I have fallen in love with your wilderness dude !!
Great video guys wow truly amazing ! The colors on that snake ! Insane ! ❤
Everywhere I go I see FACTOR
Never have I seen someone so excited to cook a TV dinner. I can picture that snakes coloration on a muscle car.
This snake is absolutely stunning! Great video!
Definitely the dopest snake ive ever seen. Nice find!
Thanks, very helpful
gorgeous snake!
that neon yellow green and those matte black scales..
awesome!
That is one of the prettiest snakes I've ever seen.
This really tells us how many undiscovered species we haven't even found of animals...
You should try finding a Mangshan viper in the wild!! Absolutely beautiful and rare snakes with not a ton of documentation on them.
That snake has a swagger attitude like a spoiled house cat.
Now that’s Deadly and Beautiful and new for me
BW is so good at bringing us that kind of content! With humor and enthusiasm too!😊
@@DravenGal Precisely

I am actually lost for words that snake is truly truly extraordinarily stunning WOW.
That snake is absolutely one of the prettiest snakes I’ve ever seen 10:03
What a beautiful snake!!
"There's never been a bite from this snake recorded"
"I'm Mark and I'm about to enter the bite zone with the Malcom's Pit Viper!"
Hey Mark, you should find and showcase the Malayan Blue Coral Snake. They're just as rare, if not more rare than the Malcom's and way more dangerous. I hope to see one on the channel one day! But the Malcom's was super cool, nice yoinks.
they are definitely less rare or at least have a wider distribution. malayan coral snakes are found all over malaysia and thailand. malcolms pit vipers are only really found around mt kinabalu.
Stunning! Great find!
Where I live cicadas are very common and there are so loud!!!!!!!
If you don't mind me asking, why isn't Coyote hosting as often anymore? Is he ok?
Coyote is still around on the channel he is doing other things. Mark Vins mainly does Brave Wilderness but Coyote still around.
Maybe his self preservation instincts finally kicked in?
maybe he filmed a lot of bites and stings in a short period, and is now recovering while mark posts
I really prefer Mark as host.
This one is truly outstanding. Wow!
When I was a little elementary school kid, I used to tell people that snakes do not hiss, because I used to catch snakes all the time and never got bit and never made one angry.
Now I know that they can hiss, as a vocal form of defense to try to scare away what they believe is a possible threat.
Wow, outstanding episode about an outstanding snake! 🐍
Since Mark is doing the BSI stuff, I'm curious to see where he would rate the executioner wasp. He's done a bunch of other wasps, but I want to know if he agrees with Coyote. Anyone else?
10:12 is like "why u looking at me?!"
Good job Mark and crew. That snake is beautiful. One question, Mark how did you manage to get bitten by a Gecko?
4:15 The Golden Snitch 😅

My son wants to send an episode idea:
He thinks it would be really cool if you went down to the Titanic and explored it in a submarine
He also says:
Be Brave. Stay Wild. See you on the next adventure!
What a gorgeous snake.
Great to see BW release an episode like this!..going out herping and finding different species to show to the camera/audience..the kind of vid that actually made BW a great, top quality wildlife channel in the first place..too many crappy, random vids (and repeats/copys of content that was already done years ago) dropping on the channel these days! We need more vids in this traditional style..the vids that made BW great
Beautiful snakes.
my tism comes out when i watch this channel :) i grew up so obsessed with animals and insects and reptiles :D
Gorgeous snake! Kudos to you and your team on putting efforts in making everyone educated and updated on wildlife. Just one question tho, since the snake is really mysterious, rare and there's no proof of bite or fatality on record, should you not be milking them and studying the venom and potentially using it to make antivenom? If you thought about this, please make a video about the milking portion in near future also! Thanks!
My boys both want you to know about the Oenpelli python! They say it is super rare and very interesting! Thanks!
