2:25 I remember always looking out from my window and staring at the sky as this music played in my head. I truly believed that there is a world waiting for me somewhere out there, and tbh a part of me never let go of that. I'm 20 now and oh boy does this bring back memories.
@105588424741920009918 I dunno, Peter Jackson's King Kong was damn good. And what a coincidence because James Newton Howard also did the music for that one.
the minute 0:42 it makes me nostalgic that even today after almost twenty years I can't explain. unfortunately this film has not received the right attention. but guys .. they don't know what they're missing! soundtrack and films full of lightheartedness and joy. I'm glad I was lucky enough to be able to grow up with genres of films, the same as this one, gorgeous in every aspect!!!
There's a reason James Newton Howard will always be my favorite composer. His knowledge of how to hold the listener's attention by creating musical masterpieces, especially for children's films (though his Hunger Games music and Lady in the Water music will be cherished among his other work.) I especially like the dramatic, yet light-hearted build-up in this particular song to the boom of the timpani and the angelic voice of the choir. Just....yes!
I always used to make sure my window was a little bit open as a child, I genuinely believed Peter Pan would take me to Neverland. Was more heart broken learning Peter Pan wasn't real then I was with Santa Clause. Now Peter Pan influences my artwork. Using this soundtrack to accompany my painting.
But Who says Peter pan isn't real? Everything is possible, and if people can believe in God without a proof just because it's written in the bible, why should we stop believing that there is a Peter pan out there, or fairies, or mermaids. Nobody has a proof that they don't exist, so for me he is real. And I will tell my future kids about his adventures, so they can have the same joyful childhood as I had.
"Come with me and you'll never...never have to worry about grownup things again." "Never is an awfully long time..." It would be wonderful to say they made it to the Nursery on time. But then, there'd be no story :)

I would give anything to see an almost exact remake of this movie in today’s technology of movie making. Still though, this will always be my favorite movie of all time because of how magical it feels, the sound track makes it so perfect too
The effects don't hold up, but I can say without a doubt that the art direction is fantastic. I know right cause Jeremy and Rachel had feelings for eachother in real life and that reflected into the film which was great 🥺🥺
@@annacagle5950 You can see it clearly, so beautiful
Best music for the best movie !
Memories of childhood right here
To hear this music was awfully big adventure XD
This soundtrack is easily one of the best in many movies.
this movie honestly doesn't get enough attention
That’s so true he deserves way more attention everybody did such a great job
That music starting at 0:44, that's my favorite part. How do they do that?
With a keyboard
With a synth
+MrWhitman That is an organ which is mostly used in cathedrals!
No idea. Probably a keyboard or an organ.
Hi! I actually think it -might- be a harpsichord. Certainly something that could be electronically mimicked, but that is what it sounds like to me. =)
Iwish neverland really existed, so I could leave from this world and let all my worries behind. ''Second star to the right and then straight till morning,,
Who sad that isn't existed?:)
But it does exist we are forever young in our minds if we chose to be and we can make magic if we believe in it.
We just have to ride the winds and back. "And away we go"
Best movie ever ! ♥
Reading the comments has brought me to tears. This movie was so important to my childhood. I actually was jealous that Peter Pan took Wendy and not me!
Hearing this piece reminds me of my childhood. Every time I watched this movie and heard this piece I wanted to fly just like them.
James Newton Howard is a Legend.... tge greatest film composer of all time !
Its 2021 and this still slaps hard

What a great children's movie it used to Take me to another World .just good Times 😭
Who's still here in 2021, listening to this _pure musical magic?_ :3.
I actually prefer this song over “You Can Fly” from Disney’s Peter Pan. It sounds much more magical, nostalgic, epic, and dreamy ❤
I have just graduated highschool, and my sister has gotten married and has moved 6 hours away, and every time I listen to this song, all I can do is cry and smile because it's like we are together again, watching Peter Pan in our pillow fort at 2 am, gushing over how cute we thought Peter was, and just being so happy and amazed by how magical and wonderful this movie really is ::)
The Great Aura about music that can just lift your spirit high into the clouds from a single beat the power of sound is truly a enhancement 🌪💫
Back a Year Later still a Masterpiece see you again in 2024.
Technically ain’t back a year later but hello again me 🤣
I hear the part near the end all the time on TV here in Japan, and I finally just remembered what it was from! Such a beautiful song~
The best Peter Pan movie ever made, the music so awesome and the characters too Peter was my crush lol
This is my favorite version of Peter Pan.
OMG, this music brings me back so much nostalgia! I actually did a ballet performance at one of my dance recitals in the past with this track. It was one of my favorite memories while I was in dance; that’s how I got introduced to this song. It’s one of the ones that will always be dear to my heart. ❤️❤️💕⭐️⭐️
I was 9 years old when I first heard this, the wonder that followed has sustained my imagination for nearly two decades now.
