Their ultra level talent, fire charisma, aura and the sisterhood bond between them is unlike anything Ive seen from a group. They have easily become my favorite. These young queens deserve to be globally huge! They just need the exposure. Thanks J-14 for having the girls on much appreciated great interview.
Folks, we know they aren't Kpop or Jpop exactly but I think, for now, it's convenient to put a tag in videos about them, that way people can find them easily since Kpop is at s high peak for the moment. It would help to reach their goal to become global and do the word tour

Agree. XGALX is still labeled under AVEX Japanese company. Jurin and the team are students of AVEX Academy and they were trained for 5 years in Japan before traveling to Korea. They go back and forth from Japan and Korea. They’re student from the AVEX Japanese company.

They have been training between Korea and Japan because Simon their producer is an ex kpop idol who has connections with Korea. Their stylists are Korean.

I think Japanese music (J-pop) last 'famous' to overseas is 80s - 90s era and now come up with International global girl group and what I like from this group it could be inspired to others talented musician, singer, dancer etc because I believe Japanese also have talented young people.
Although XG is a “Global group “ I can see and understand why people would say their kpop group . Mainly due to many factors that will cause confusion. 1) they sing , dance and rap. All one one. 2) their music video style and editing. Highly produce etc. 3) they promote and perform in Korea music shows and other things. Now yes they have english tracks mainly . But let’s not forget song like butter & dynamite from BTS , Blackpink English songs like ice cream, Lisa money , rose solo song. And English songs can also be perform recorded by kpop groups too. Girls generation had the boys English version. Also in this interview they did mention they did wanna try different genres. Considering kpop artists mix with many styles and genres. But XG like we all know currently influenced by rnb groups like destiny child etc. Personal opinion, yes their a global group. But I feel SOMETIMES they can somewhat be in middle center like be somewhat related to kpop in a say just cause everything we seen.
But seriously why are we putting quotation marks around global group? That gesture indicates sarcasm, satire or irony, which is really disrespectful to how hard these women have worked and their company has worked to try and establish them as a group to be taken seriously.

They are Kpop. They trained in Korea for 5 years. And their almost every musical products are created by Korean in Korea. Music , dance , stylist, music video are made by korean. Thats why they are active in Korea.
2 title songs made by Korean. 1 song by western. Choreo is american & korean . Stylist totally all korean . All music video totally made by Korean. All directors are korean.
