This performance was their last dance(Name of) concert. This was bigbang last performance before there enlistment in military. T.O.P was not there because he was already enlisted in army because he is 1 year old then other members.
Bigbang have lots of ups and down. Bombarded with so much controversies not just in relation with their music and how they do it but just so with their status and lives trith and lies. But us VIP's who've journeyed with them knows the joys nad pain of becoming different and unique that differs from the norms.
So glad you gave them chance to be heard through their music which they care a lot. Thank you. Hope you listen to them more again.

Your right - this performance of Last Dance is very emotional for them. I would have to translate all of the lyrics to show the full meaning in the song. The lyrics are very poetic. The opening lines are roughly translated "a love I thought would be eternal is drawing to a close" it could be a love song or a song to fans as the members say goodbye to join the army. It ends roughly translated " I can't know the ecstasy that I used to know and feel, as it doesn't go with the world."

For a different interpretation can you please react to G Dragon's recent cover of the same song on his Official G Dragon channel. It is important to watch the one on his Official G Dragon channel, as it is the only one where the MV was directed by Baz Luhrmann - who also directed the recent Elvis movie. As usual, an emotional performance from G Dragon. It is a really nice homage to Elvis.

Ok, so this preformce is from the "last dance" tour, TOP- the rapper with the deep voice was already in the army, so all his parts were back track, the other 4 sang live.
It was literally the last song on the set (about 3 hours long concert)
They were saying goodbye before enlisting to the army themselves

TOP, the guy on the big screen, had to go into the military.
All Korean men are required to go into the military for 2 years.
The rest of the group has since finished up their military requirements. And the plan was that after all was said and done the group would get back together.
TOP...he served his military duty but just before going in, he got in trouble for using marijuana...a HUGE no no in Korea. It went to court, but he avoided jail time and went on into the military. But...a lot of Koreans turned against him and he was reluctant to appear in public for some time. But just recently...he showed up to a red carpet event...so this gives fans hope that he's getting past the shame he brought onto himself, his band, for the drug use.
One of the members, Seungri...he got into serious legal problems. He also ran several businesses outside of the group. He was caught offering up prostitutes to various business associates...and as far as I know, after being found guilty in court, he still had to go into the military but is now serving his sentence in the military prison.
The rest of the group, G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, and Daesung have as yet, got back together for any stages...they released a song, so fans are still hoping they will get back together. However, there is very little chance that Seungri will ever be allowed to perform again. Korea is very harsh on entertainers in that regard...you mess up...and your career is pretty much tanked. .

T Gun, I just left a comment on your reaction to BIGBANG's tell me goodbye. Really hope (please) that you can go back and read it. Has some background info and related recommendations. It was a song written for a TV series in which TOP acted. That was for Japanese version of series. They did a very different one for the Korean version of series. Also, recommendation of a very funny TOP interview about his acting. Really hope you go back and look.
Love there lives but the MV for this is pretty amazing:)
