I just discovered your channel last week and I love it! As a nature lover, videos like these are a nice surprise! 😊
Thank you so much! Glad you're enjoying :)
Yes
Definitely want to check out some of these. "Reality Bubble" sounds like a good book to read now, since people have probably been feeling very disconnected from the rest of the world due to being stuck inside the past year.
Yeah, I definitely read it at the right time since it does feel like this year has felt even more disconnected from reality than normal.
Thanks for the timestamps! Makes it easy to go back and review.
Awesome! Yeah I love the new UA-cam chapters feature for this :)
i LOVE your book recommendations videos! adding everything to my tbr haha
im studying biology myself and marinebiology but also neuroscience are my interests and i want to become a scientist myself. so yeah you are the only youtuber that has my reading taste, thank you!
Yes!! I know how hard it is to find someone with your exact reading taste online haha
There are some interesting sounding books in that lot. I like the sound of Irreplaceable and The Reality Bubble - 'we are made of stardust' is something Carl Sagan said a lot too, really interesting stuff.
Yeah, I totally got Cosmos vibes from The Reality Bubble now that I think about it.
Oh my gosh the I think about stuff like the reality bubble all the time! I was watching a Dr come into work (I was working at a hospital at the time) with a brief case and I was like what are you doing what am I doing we could just be outside surviving like squirrels but we just made up this whole world. Anyways I then continued to walk to my office and type away. Definitely going to pick up the book. Thanks for the content!
LOL I love that!!! Hahah
Rly enjoying your book videos! Would love to hear your thoughts on any of Elizabeth Kolbert's books (they're all so so good)
I've heard sooo many positive reviews of them, they are high on my to be read list!
u really inspire me to reading!!!
Thank you! I've just added them all in my wishlist 🙈
Hope you enjoy!
Oh thank you for sharing these! I’m gonna get The reality bubble since I’m doing a field trip to the Paraguayan Chaco in a few weeks and I’m gonna need something to read for the almost 12 hours I need to spend on a bus!
Have fun! I have done a few 12+ hr overnight buses in South America myself lol. Fun times
@@kristina_lynn thank you! Oh yeah this will be my 3rd trip and those hours on the bus had been totally worth it so far at least lol
hey so about wildelife biology, do u have to like study animals in a lab or can you have an option that lets you be with like animals studying them in person and stuff all the time? also is chemistry very important for wildlife biology?
Ooh, thanks Kristina!
I will have to check out Return of the Sea Otter. I live in Morro Bay now.
Small world! I graduated from MBHS in 2010 :)
love this!
Just found your channel and am very glad that I did. Lived near Morro Bay for awhile, too. Thanks for the reviews!
