Would I qualify for the retirement pensioniado for government employees if I am retiring from the State of Indiana or does it have to be Federal government?
I would love to speak with someone at your firm and possibly make a second visit. I do meet the qualifications for this visa through the Veterans Administration. How does one contact you?
Hi, my name is Hugue Cornez , Belgian Citizen tired of paying taxes. I'll be pensioned in August and I'll receive 2200 € monthly. I already checked that Belgium pension authority can pay into a bank account in Panama. So I'VE planned an exploratory visit in November to open a bank account and find a suitable permanent house or flat. Do you think my pension will be sufficient for the pensionado visa ?

Thank you for the instructions provided regarding the pensionado visa. I am someone who has been retired in the Dominican Republic for four years and now considering moving to Panama. I am in the process of my antecedentes penales which is called here "Carta de Buena Conducta". And that will be apostilled as well. I receive an annually letter from Social Security Administration every January. My question is: does this letter of proof of income has to be more recent? I'd like to know please before I spend the money on translation and apostille. My trip will be in August of this summer time. I am glad I stumble on your channel this morning. Looking forward for your response. Or does everything has to be taking care of in the United States. Thanks .
Hello Vivi! Your background check should be for the last place of residency in the last 2 years showing proof of residency like a residency card. Background check and social security are valid for 6 months only from the date of issue. No need to translate there that is done in Panama. Hope that helps! 👍
@@PrimeSolutionsTaxLegal Thank you so much for responding. I picked up the result of the background check yesterday and I finally got in touch with the social security administration wich is established here at he US embassy, Once I got the letter from them, I believe I should be okay. Hello. Just looking for clarity. If a person has an annuity with an insurance company that will pay out monthly income for life in excess of $1000, that would qualify for pensionado visa? I had heard from another source that an annuity from insurance would not qualify. Thank you.
Hi Steve. It has to be a pension plan, not sure in your case the type of annuity and if it’s for life it is considered a pension or not, although it can be private and can come from a bank, trust, insurance company, private fund asset manager. If the retirement or pension comes from a private company, must be provided: - Letter from a foreign pension, trust, mutual fund, insurance or banking company certifying that manages funds for the company or the applicant. - Certification of existence and validity of the company, which grants the pension and manages the fund. - Copy of proof of payment or bank statement.
Hello. Thank you for making the video. A question: Could I qualify for the Pensionado Visa with passive income (interest paid on fixed deposits by banks)? Thanks.
Hello Claudio! I am afraid passive income is not possible for this category. If you open a fixed term deposit in Panama of at least 200k at least 3 years if you are from a country listed on the Friendly Nations Visa or 300k if you are from a country not listed in the Friendly Nations Visa.

Questions: I have SS gross income above $1000 but after withholdings it is almost $900. Are they looking at the gross amount or the net amount. Also, I have an annuity that my financial manager took out from investing my nest egg about 17 years ago. It yields me $995 every month for the rest of my life. Please clarify if any or all of these will qualify me for a Pensionado visa. I also want to be able to work writing books on kindle as i am a writer. Any profits would go into my American bank account. I also teach yoga and Pilates and am a healer. And would love to work out of my home as a senior and be useful to others. Is there any pathway to achieve these goals? Thank you for your help. Cash

If so, can we apply for the visa while in Panama (on tourist visa)? Finally, how long does it normally take to receive the Pensionado visa after application?
