The good Lord blessed me with one child, and I went camping when I was 8 months pregnant. I agree with you completely Jessa! Comfortable bedding is critical when you're large with child 😊

#1 rule of camping is find a site close to bathrooms for kids ! My kids grew up camping every weekend when they were little

Invest in a port a potty. All camping stores have them. Atleast you know it's clean to sit on. All the best Jessa, may you have a smooth delivery.
I agree, they even have ones that flush. My Mom had one in her van for years
You can also purchase an inexpensive pop up tent from Amazon to put the toilet in.
Good idea! We had a cabin but instead of going outside our dad had us use a bucket (with a toilet seat on it…. ) of course this was in the 1960’s!
@@jenaemarieAZ they make 5 gallon bucket toilets now and you line it with plastic bag. I myself would prefer a flushing camping toilet.

Years ago I was camping with my kids and while sleeping we awoke to noise. Some raccoons were on the picnic table eating crumbs from Oreos we had earlier!

Thank you for posting this! I am gearing up to take my 3 boys on their first camping trip as well. They are 6,4 and 3 and have been feeling stressed with getting everything together and organizing so this is super encouraging!

I did a practice round camping trip in the backyard 2 weeks ago. The noises of the night had my littles restless. I wanted to practice before we braved a camping trip on the Buffalo. It looks like y'all had a nice time. Those 64 degree night time temps sound pretty amazing right now. Arkansas humidity got me like 🥵

The kids singing was so cute. Ivy has the most adorable biggest blue eye. Her curls are so cute. But, I would go camping with a tent as big as yours but I would bring a queen size air mattress for us to sleep on. The kids loved to sleep in their sleeping bags. Used to Love camping then caravan and retired and sold caravan.l didn’t go camping until late 40s children were all grown up and flew nest.l only wish I could turn back time.Kids love outdoors and it looked so much fun.xx
My parents never took me camping, always wanted to go. So as much as I don't love it, I do take my kids tent camping. But honestly I don't have much fun. Some parts are fun but I prefer a cruise vacation, lol.
I haven’t gone camping in over 40 years. No way these old bones are going to sleep on the ground! I adore your children! You are such good parents and done an amazing job with them! I love camping with my family! Good idea to go before you have a newborn. We tried camping with a newborn, and nobody got any sleep. I have good memories now, but...... I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

here in Pennsylvania the heat, humidity and mosquitos of summer i do not want to go camping, only in April/ May or Late September/October/early November if warm, sometimes we get some nice weather before thanksgiving.
