i thik the downvotes are based on "cutting a handle feels like survival, while bringing a machined high quality blade from 2020 feels like cheating" conflict.
too much effort just to prepare simple dinner, that's why (no offence). from cutting log, splitting, carving and etc. how long does time wasted for that? 2 hours? half day? 3/4? whole day? I'd prefer simple can wood stove, collect twig around and cut to require length, much easier. Anyway, if everyone prefer something easy, what's the fun of doing harder way of meal preparation? right?
That feeling when your favourite bushcraft youtuber publishes video before you going to bed, 20mins of chillout with outdoors sounds :) thanks, mate! :)
@@Swedwoods I am thankful for your film recordings of the Nature and that you left everything, like you come upon(except the Firewood). I think, thats a Main Thing in your Videos, that many didnt recognise!
Swedwoods Your body movement and the way you observe what you are doing reveals a great degree of mindfulness in what you are doing . This is real meditation more over when you do it without any interest or agenda “Only for fun” I also do a lot of Kayak Mindfulness Trip to the Everglades In Florida without any intention only with my mind fixed in the wildlife and in my fishing rod.
I think the video makes me want to visit Ikea to buy some Lingonberry Preserves. I have spent a few nights in the woods and he does it how it is supposed to be done: left no trace but enjoyed it to the max! He really added to the fresh air he was in; added fresh wood smoke, fishing, woodcraft, fantastic scenery and running water, leaving no trace, bacon and bannock, good packing skills. Time to get my boots on: I need to get out there!
Dear friend. Thank you for a new vido. Always with something new to learn with you. You show peace and quiet....great. Greetings from Madrid. See you soon I hope.

This is, without a doubt, the coolest bushcraft video I have seen. In particular, I enjoyed and appreciated the silence. Just letting your camera tell the story, along with the sound's of nature. I will at time's make a rocket stove, but your's was at a whole new level. I'm going to try that my next time out. Subscribed from Colorado, US. Be safe. Roger
Really enjoyed your video again. Sometimes just staying in the woods and enjoying the daytime gives you all the energy you loose in the everyday-hectic. Love your videos
Hello my friend good to see you healthy. Great video I like your meal it looked realy good. The woodstove good idea to speed up everything when you are hungry. Good to see you again. Take care stay healthy with your family bye bye
Some very fine flowing water imagery in this one. AND two great tips: attaching a saw blade to a forest made bow when you don't have a drill or awl and the forest made stove system. Then there was the shot of the shelf fungus on a tree...with very good depth of field.
You make all these look very easy while they are really hard to do in fact. Only thing i can complain about is that you could ve waited a little more for meat. It looked so raw.. epic
Mange tak for en meget inspirerende og lærerig video. Det skal jeg/vi prøve når turen går til Sverige/Imeln i april 2022. Flere videoer. Många bra hälsningar från gamla 🇩🇰 Tino 😊👍
Hi Swed, sure helps us shut in folks watching and remembering seeing you and a few others in action, I hope once back together I can get back out, thanks again Swed
The silence makes this video much better than others on this topic. It's much more relaxing. And your excellent craftsmanship cannot go unnoticed.
Thanks a lot!
no idea why people disliked this... i liked it... no talking, scenery, the sounds of the free.
Thanks!
I do. Kids never been in the woods

We should understand that for this guy the handcrafting and cooking is a form of meditation
Yeah you think the right way but it's even simpler than that, I just do things which i think is fun
