I’m at Primavera Sound music festival, and I saw them live. They were amazing, but DARE wasn’t on the setlist. I was disappointed cause it’s my favorite song of theirs, but I wasn’t surprised cause it seems harder to pull off live than the others that were performed.
If I go someday to see Gorillaz I think I would cry tears of joy, the show is so beautiful and we all grown up with this band seeing their members getting older phase per phase. Damon and Jamie are just music kings. Creating a fictional music band is the best idea as we get hooked on the members and relate to them. JUST THANK YOU

Could be this song have been playing on background since 10 years ago in every live performance. Noodle voice in real world and face is not anywhere. Anyone else is a guest singer, noodle has had multiple singers play her. Dare is just one example of this. They'll always play Dare since it's a big hit for them even if live it isn't good.
A lot of it is down to people not appreciating that Gorillaz have a record of low cost tour rehearsals. They get it right that way then get the original collaborators in and charge a lot more. It was a wonderful evening, as was Brixton and Margate days later with full ensemble.
Rosie gabor(voice of noodle in this song) still sing backing vocals for andromeda album But i don't know why she didn't play live with damon she might be busy with her own stuff
This group had good songs but I never took them seriously because of they never showed themselves in any video just cartoons. I think that was a huge marketing mistake.
