@@anapaulaotero-illustration875 Olá, Ana! I think the Van Gogh oil pastels are remarkable for the price! Previously, I bought a set of 30 student grade Mungyo oil pastels at my local papelaria (NOT the "Mungyo Gallery" artist grade everyone loves.) They make a lot of crumbles and don't layer well. I was quite disappointed with the medium. But I figured I'd gamble on the Van Gogh set and also bought a few Caran D'Ache Neopastels in light values for highlights. So far, I have loved experimenting with them, making master studies of Sorolla and of Van Gogh himself. And yes, I am an American living in Figueira da Foz. It is a beautiful and tranquil city. 🥰

@JeanneBruneau Happy to meet you, Jeanne! Yes, I have some bad oil pastels as well and it's not pleasent at all to work with them. I find the Van Gogh 's are really affordable and quite good. But of course, Caran d'Ache's are just dreamy!❤ love them! I'd love to see work work too. Do you share it somewhere?
