This is one of the best written songs of all time! Unbelievable music and lyrics. Cannot believe it wasn't as popular as it should have been. Have loved it since the 80's and always will.
Thank you for posting this. Both WAPP and WNEW back in NYC were playing this song for approximately 2 weeks when this came-out back in 1983. Fell in-love with it on first listen, heard it 10-12 times at most during those 2 glorious weeks, and never heard it again till just now. Again, thank you.
Small and Tabak were both Prism. They were just different eras. Pardon the pun but Small had too big a pair of boots to fill and he does not get his due. Tabak was amazing and Small was very talented in his own right.

Small went on to do an amazing album with none other than John Entwistle of The Who! His 2002 solo album Time is also incredible!
WLLZ 98.7 overplayed and destroyed this song in the Detroit area when the song came out.
