WE ASKED FOR LORE NOT THEORY FODDER BUT BOTH WORK
theory: before Daisy ever came into Ethos life, Etho was kind of alone on the server 90% of the time (because everyone hates him for no fricking reason, though I have reason to believe Cherri is faking hating Etho, but I’ll go into that theory another time.) he was human in the early days of the server, then some accident happened which caused his player severe injuries. (Don’t ask how that works in Minecraft.) So Etho had to get some robotic pieces to replace the damaged human bits he lost. The name “Ethobot” was initially used as a joke to tease Etho on the server, but then he adopted the name, because he’d rather forget the accident and anything before it ever happened. Then Daisy happened. I theorize that Etho adopted Daisy as a toddler (because Etho states she was a toddler when he adopted her) to fill the loneliness in his life, because as I’ve said, everyone hates etho FOR NO REASON. Like we’re never given a reason- I’ll get my theorist butt out of here bye.

The fact that Etho admitted that he is one of the weaker players in the server cause he made the Mach-2 just to kill players, he is still one of the most dangerous ones. I feel like he is more dangerous that Daisy or even the mafia cause the fact he is literally experimenting on people in his own house and took a villager's legs shows how dangerous and the limits he will take just to be human again.
My guy has been working on his villain arc for a long time in the shadows.

I know that this is a kid friendly show, but backstories say otherwise. Etho was abandoned by his parents and is now having crippling nightmares on how he became a cyborg. He is now stealing life from others and taking people's body part to try to find a way to become human again.
Daisy was separated from her family and almost drowned, her only friend committed suicide to save her. And she even got kill at some point (truck-kun1 strikes again!). However, not complaining but I kind of want more Etho lore
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that daisy became a hardened criminal
I just realized that Etho had to relearn how to walk , use his left arm and eye due to whatever happened to him, adding the fact of the limbs being likely very heavy would make that a very difficult thing, also unless Etho has jets in his arm and leg he can’t swim meaning if Daisy where to drown he would have to have a lot of luck to have someone help him get her out cause him jumping in might get her out it would leave him dead and Daisy orphaned. Again.

I think his dad was against his son’s idea of adopting her( because you know) but his grandparents didn’t mind adopting her. Also, he’s dad is probably a strict workaholic stubborn overbearing scientist and it might take a long time to see her as his daughter.

I think the adoption paperwork is Etho taking official custody because, Daisy is a kid and they aren't living with their parents for an unknown reason. It would make sense for him to do that and it's really sweet.
Probably etho’s father was a strict scientist who is working hard on his job and very strict about his son behavior and wants him to have a perfect life but is deeply care and worry about his son and is afraid that he’ll might lose him again this time. As for daisy, it might take a long while to see her as his daughter(due to her you know) but very impressed that she taking care of etho every day…

okay i absolutely loved this video giving heavy lore on Etho and the wanting to be a real boy again makes me wonder. What happened to him and what would an episode be like if he wasn't acting all happy cause he seems vaugly sad from that? Also can he have code malfunctions?
He probably can have code malfunctions considering the human mind and tech have wildly different ways of working, him having a mental breakdown or being overwhelmed just a bit to much likey would result in him just shutting down and rebooting. Also this episode implies Etho has body dismorfia, on top of PTSD cause by whatever happened to resulted in him being a cyborg.(cause we all know it’s not a good orgin story whenever someone’s a cyborg)
maybe Etho was a failed experiment and was to be destroyed but somehow escaped or he is the final product and destroyed the lab as a code malfunction which caused him to have the feelings of a real person. Or the murderous Etho is the full programming actually working while the original Etho has a malfunction in his programming.

How do you do the character animations like blinking and ear wiggles? I'm guessing you've used something to create custom expressions that you can activate in game, since it doesn't look like it's done in post. Looks like fun. I'd like to try it.

I find it really sweat that Etho adopted Daisy. Because in videos further then this one, It was come to know that something had happened to her Family, she had a Mom, a Dad, a Brother, and an Uncle. It turns out they had all possibly went missing of some sort.
I would like to know more about Etho's past as a cyborge. It is very interesting, and maybe his past had somthing to do with his own past family, or the family he has now. How they had dissapeared, or other things. I don't know if this is correct, but maybe he adopted Daisy because Daisy reminded him of his own childhood with his family, how they went missing and all that. I can say that there is a lot of lore about Ethobot for sure. No one knows about how his past was, only him. There is a lot of storage and room for new lore to be put in, and I cannot wait. :D
