Getting Ruby stuck on your pant loop is probably not quite as annoying as trying to get a hognose out of my hair. Lol 😂 They love to dig into my hair. The kingsnake at 8:43 looks female to me judging by the size although I'm not really familiar with how big they should be. The only kingsnake I have is pretty small and a different kind of kingsnake. She was popped by the breeder before I took her home so I know she's a she. She's a baby still and took a little bit of work to get her eating. The only snake in my house that I am not 100% sure about their gender is a tiny hognose that refuses to eat. 😢 if she? would just eat I would probably be able to tell soon. She's in shed and it seems like when they shed they like to eat after so hopefully that helps.
11:30 That probe looked a little big to me...although don't take my word for it because I have never probed a snake and probably will never probe a snake. We'll see though...as time goes on maybe someday I will feel confident enough to try it if needed. The only snakes that I am set to breed are hognose and I have been told that they are not the best snake to probe. I'm sure it's fine when they are big like Petunia but by that time I think I wouldn't need to probe them.
Good to see you and the snakes doing well 🙃
Thank you! And thanks for watching!

Hopefully she (maybe) does eat after the shed! Thanks for watching!
Petunia I had no doubts about being female. The shape and length of that tail. Plus her size.
