Hi Marilyn! Just take a mini press or regular iron and put underneath that spot to warm it up. Then take a weeding tool and gently remove it. Make sure the heat is not touching your design. Great job! 😍
Awesome job....I don't believe I have ever pressed a v neck shirt but when I do, I now know not to go down 3 inches because I probably would have. Thanks for sharing Marilyn.
Wow Marilyn that is a great design! Those rhinestones are the perfect color. I had a similar situation with HTV but a little bit larger piece so I went in between the two layers and heated from the back. Tracey
I have of those also that I often use when needing to set just a few stones. It comes in really handy for me from time to time. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks so much!!! When I share the screen, I am using Quicktime Player and using the screen recording function. It is a program that came on my MacBook.
You are welcome. If you don’t mind my asking, why do you design with silhouette and print with cricuit? I have the free version of silouette ( which I really like) and use it . I cut with my cricut . I don’t have a silouette machine.
@@pamtilsonrodgers2825 I don't have a Silhouette either, but really wanted to get into rhinestone designs, so I bought the Silhouette Business Edition to be able to do that.
Love this! Just recently found you! You are so good explaining everything. Watching all your videos now. You are my go-to for learning this new craft! I do have one question….I got a package of the hotfix rhinestones and a good amount of the rhinestones didn’t have the glue on the back and I ended up spending a lot of time hand adhering the missing stones, plus couldn’t reuse my transfer bc their were so many stones missing glue. Is this normal?
Thank you so so much🙂 No that is not normal. I find one here and there without it but have never had more than one or two on any given design. That had to be very frustrating!
Hi Marilyn I just got the Silhouette business edition. I went to the Silhouette panel and clicked at the dotted star and it didn't do the circle dots. Is there any additional steps I need to do once I upgrade it? It did gave me the license #.
Thank you so much! For the card stock, you would need a glitter card stock that does not shed (where there is a coating of sorts over the glitter). Here is what I used for the template in the video. amzn.to/3Bx06Xx
The shirt is from The Dollar General. In my Dollar General, they switched from using softstyle Gildan v-neck shirts to using fruit of the loom v-neck shirts. They are also nice and soft.
I have never used that machine, but I watched some UA-cam videos in which the person used it to cut the rhinestone templates. In fact, at least one of the videos said that the software for the Scan N Cut includes a rhinestone feature. It was under a tab called "Premium" so it may be a paid version. I really love Silhouette Business Edition for making the templates that I cut with my Cricut.
I love that template! I got three of your templates, the fall vibes I got today. That one comes with an additional template with an acorn; do I use the dimensions that comes up in Cricut design place W-10.613 H-7.615 for the acorn one or should I use the dimensions of the original file? Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊 💓 I was just wondering what if you put a piece of felt under the glitter cardstock. Would that keep the stones in place 🤔? If it does work, that is one way people can use glitter cardstock until they get rhinestone flock.

Thank you soooo much Cheryl!!! I will try that after I get home from work today. I appreciate you letting me know what to try😘
It looks really good!!! Good job Marilyn!

Oooops! I'm ok! I forgot to enter the license key 🤦🏾♀️ so now I can start learning to design with rhinestones. Thanks for your tutorials. 😊

I absolutely love v neck shirts and it's about all I ever wear. With a body like mine, you need that little extra distraction:)!!!
@@MakingwithMarilyn lol you need to stop that.. you look amazing. If thats the case all I need to wear is v neck shirts for distraction 🤣🤣🤣🤣
THOSE ARE PRETTY.

HI...GOOD MORNING MARILYN.
Hey Stacey!!!
Marilyn I have a rhinestone setter applicator that I use to remove HTV. I use it when I want to apply a few stoned to a garment by hand.
I have of those also that I often use when needing to set just a few stones. It comes in really handy for me from time to time. Thanks for the suggestion!
Love that shirt
Thank you so much!!!
Ahh-mazing . Yes, it is gorgeous 🎉
Thanks so much!!!
Beautiful
Thank you!
Marilyn
I love your channel… may I ask what program you use when you are showing us what to do in Cricut? Do are you sharing your screen with us?
Thanks so much!!! When I share the screen, I am using Quicktime Player and using the screen recording function. It is a program that came on my MacBook.
Good video thanks looks good
Thank you Jessie! This ended up being one of my favorite shirts because I love those coffee stones in the football.
Beautiful I love it question we’re did you get the template football
I made the football template. It is in my Etsy shop if you are interested. www.etsy.com/shop/MarilynsMerc?ref=profile_header
TFS…great job as usual👍🏽💙
Thanks Nicole!
Mini press from underneath will take off the piece of vinyl.
Thank you.
Love it great job.

It looks like I have a later comment that you figured it out. I will read it next and if you still need help, let me know:)
What card stock did you use. Will any glitter card stock work? Love the shirt by the way

Where is the tshirt from? Ty for the tutorial 💗 .

Very 😍 cute
Thank you!
❤
It is absolutely gorgeous! How many stones did it require?
It took about 1240 and I added that to my description. Thanks for asking.
What is the size of the template I’m not lining the white on the rhinestones??
If you do the rhinestones only, the size is 9.497 wide and 5.594 tall.
CAN I DO THIS WITH MY BROTHERS SCAN N CUT?
I have never used that machine, but I watched some UA-cam videos in which the person used it to cut the rhinestone templates. They have a spray that you can remove it with. I have some if you want to know the name of it.
I would definitely be interested in knowing the spray that you have. Thanks so much!
The spray is called VLR and it’s by AlbaChem in green/white can. Hope this helps!
@@lisajackson2542 thank you.

Thanks so much!!! You should use the dimensions from the original file. Otherwise the holes will be off in size.
@@MakingwithMarilyn thanks!
