This song.. I may have never played FF IX (even though the song is urging me to buy it and give it a go) but I do remember the original FF II theme being my favorite of all time. Glorious rendition, my man!
@SonOfDephts I have Hauptwerk 5 and the Notre-Dame de Metz - Cavaille Coll. Would love to know wich instruments/pistons have you used typically for this music rendition ?
For this specific Song I've used the St Annes Moseley organ. The reverb is modified of course. Pistons are basically almost everything on Great and for the melody basically everything on swell. At the moment I often use the Fuhrer organ Riddagshausen. But I'd love to have the St. Etienne...
@@HardcoreJohnny Thanks for this deep answer and details ! My renditions seems often to be overkill because i like too much to use the Positive with everything coupled on it. I will test new things so. Do you use the Pedals on this music ? If yes, do you couple it with some specifics things ? Otherwise, testing other Organ would be great if they were not so expensive haha. The St. Etienne one sound pretty cool, it's also a Cavaille Coll one , as it was built by Aristide apparently ! I prefer the Metz one while listening to Boelmman - Toccata (Suite Gothique) over the St. Etienne (a sample of the same music is available), as it sound in my opinion much more darker...But as i don't know a lot of things to do on my organ yet, it's hard to know wich kind of music sound better on an Organ or another Organ, even if it's very subjective (tastes etc.)
@@GuillaumeZahra I've created a sheet for this song out of various sheets back then but unfortunately, I do not have it anymore. I do not know the exact registration for this song anymore but to me it sound like at least the great was coupled to the pedalboard.
No, unfortunately I do not have the sheet anymore. But I can tell you it is pretty easy to figure it out on your own. Just take a simple piano sheet of it and add a 7th and/or 9th and/or 13th and so on to the chords until you get the sound. Then you just need those few melodies which you can also find in some files :). Good luck.
