You are masterful, Yvonne! All your projects were beautiful, but the little green dresser is my favorite. You have such a kind way of speaking, and I like your approach to each of your projects. It's fun to learn from you and at the same time be entertained.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ OH NO! Yvonne! I'm worried about the copper hinges on your white "bread box"!! If you use the Iron Patina paint on ANY metal surface. You must apply a couple of coats of Dixie Belle's Prime Start before the Patina paint. Prime Start prevents the Patina paint from rusting through the actual metal piece you painted! I hope the hinges will be OK!! You know how much I love everything you do. I just wanted to help... Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤
Hello from 🇨🇦. As always so enjoy watching you work your magic. Agree there is just something magical about little drawers you can fill with treasures. Thank you for continuing to entertain and inspire. Cheers
Wow… I love that finish on that odd little cubbie thingy and the bread box. It reminded me of that gator cracking that you see on old antiques. That little child’s dresser at the end found its new perfect color. That green is a favorite.
I love the little green ,3 drawer thingy. I would use it in my bathroom to put brushes ,combs ,hair ties, hair dryer ,curing iron and things like that in. Love it !! I love all all of them, but that one is my favorite.
Love the green! Both the little cabinets in green are awesome! All the little cabinets are terrific makeovers. You always impress with you creativity. 🤗
I suppose it's a good thing that I live so far away from your booth, because if I didn't I would stay in the red on my bank account, as well as in the doghouse with my hubby. I love so many of your makeovers and these pieces are no different. I love them all, however that bread box/box/cubby with the copper inset, ohmygoodness!! LOVE IT!! Absolutely stunning! And the way you were able to make the door/hatch workable again is just genius. All of the other piece are lovely too and if I were walking through your booth (s) and saw them, uh, yes I could have a use for them either in my house or to give as gifts. As always Yvonne you used your creative magic and brought them back to life. Thank you sharing! xx
I say, you’re getting to be a real pro at this. I’m loving all of them . Each one was different. The one bread box with the copper really looked great. Perfect idea you had there. I too love the milk paint ( you got me hooked on it) n that green is my favorite. Thank you for experimenting on the color mix cuz it’s perfect. The last one you worked on reminded me of a salesman dresser from way back when. It might not have been that but doesn’t matter I still like it. Another great inspiration. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟
The child’s dresser when I first looked at the drawers, I thought that they had used a woodgraining tool. I used to do that a lot when I still had my refinishing business.
The little green piece looks like a salesman sample, minus the mirror. It turned out very cute! Years ago I had a breadbox with the same style of punched insert. I took that out and the insert may have just got tossed out not long ago or it’s in my stash somewhere. It definitely looks much better made over! I found a really tall handmade breadbox that we use to store our chips in, and I promote ones I sell as being snack storage. Another one I painted holds our coffee bar supplies. Gosh, I have several breadboxes I need to get done.
I absolutely love everything you do. That crazy is just fabulous and that door that you made it look rusty. It’s just phenomenal. I love your work. I wish I lived close by you so I could buy it. God bless you and your family.😂
Love everything you did. You always do a fantastic job. The bread box was confusing, wasn't it. The groove in there was for the pegs on the door to fit in to lift up and push into the box. Those little holes would've held a dowel that would've stabilized the door once opened so it wouldn't fall down. But you sure came up with a clever solution and it looks great! Sure enjoy watching what you do.
You really know how to stir up those creative ideas to give a face look to a old worn out item. My bathroom is under going a unplanned face-lift from a surprise water leak which is why I watch you for ideas. Thanks 😊😊😊
Awwww was that Peach or Tater purrs ❤ I thought the copper breadbox was my favorite then came the sweet green drawers….. poor little guy getting ignored, now look at him!
Yvonne, have you mixed lime powder, water and paint? “Limewash” Im sure it will be substantially less expensive than milk paint . The transformations were terrific.
The peg solution is simple...When the piece was made, the side was put on after the door was placed and affixed. Then the top was put on.😊 Like your solution. It doesn't make sense to disassemble the piece for that.❤ Love ya'!
Another wonderful video show casing your ability to take pieces from drab to fab. That last one was my favorite because the drawer fronts were so different and I do think that green was prefect for it, 😊❤
Yesss ! I’m here in the U.K., snuggled up in bed with my morning tea, watching you, my favourite Maker. And then a “eureka” moment. As a lifelong crafter/DIYer who LOVES learning new “hacks” I’ve realised what I need to do to make my dreams come true. It was when you were positioning those library hooky things on the little green cabinet. I need to marry your husband ! He has such a lot to teach me ! PS. I’m 72 and already married . . . might this be an obstacle we could overcome ??? 🤔🤭😂
Loved them all! Dresser, looks like one I have. I think they are called salesman samples. mine does not have the ridges in the drawers though. Really enjoy your videos, very inspiring!
Hi , I had a bread box like #3,back in the early 1980’s. That lid did come with it! The way it worked was there were the small dowels on the side of the door, they fit into the grooves that you see inside. There were two other small dowel in the holes on the inside. To open the door, you lift it straight up and slide back in to the box and it would stay open. Hope that solves the mystery!
Paint is like magic, it is amazing the transformations we can do with a can of paint. wonderful.
Love the green milk paint. So vintage. The breadbox cubby with the distressed copper lid is also gorgeous.
You are masterful, Yvonne! All your projects were beautiful, but the little green dresser is my favorite. You have such a kind way of speaking, and I like your approach to each of your projects. It's fun to learn from you and at the same time be entertained.
So cute. I love your cloche on your dining table.
Yvonne I always say a lick of paint can change anything. And boy did it in this case . ❤
Yvonne everything turned out amazing. Beautiful job
The first white one is my favorite. That knob made all the difference! Great job on all of them. 😊

The three drawer chest was so fresh, a breath of spring 👏👏👏👏
Loved both of the green ones. The copper patina was beautiful. New little kitty looks very content. 😊

That little 3 drawer cabinet looks like a salesman sample, it is absolutely adorable
Yes!! It looks like it had a mirror on the top at one time. Hence, the holes being on the top. 😊
Love the dresser salesman sample the best!

😻
I love how the milk paint crazing makes MDF board looked like real painted wood. Beautiful projects, as usual.
You are so good at explaining things. I love the way you show step by step.👍
I hear a happy Kitty purring in the background. Is that Peach or the new kitty?
Watch the end of the video to find out😻
Love the green! Both the little cabinets in green are awesome! All the little cabinets are terrific makeovers. You always impress with you creativity. 🤗

I’m loving all of them .

I love the bread box that you remade!!!
I liked them all. ❤
Love them all
I love that green you mix up! Amazing. Oh, i hear a little engine!! Lol!
I find that true about the chalk paint. It dries very fast, then not a smooth finish. Love your tip about spray bottle of water. Thank you.
Love these. I could hear your cat purring. Lol
😻
The child’s dresser when I first looked at the drawers, I thought that they had used a woodgraining tool. I used to do that a lot when I still had my refinishing business.
They all turned out beautiful, great job ❤
Those turned out so cute! I love the last one
Again you blew me away!

The little green Childs dresser was adorable

Just amazing transformations! I would think it would be hard to part with any of these items.

It now has a unique way of opening I guess 🤗
Those are all amazing but the last little green one - yes please! You’re so very talented! 💚🤍
You really know how to stir up those creative ideas to give a face look to a old worn out item. My bathroom is under going a unplanned face-lift from a surprise water leak which is why I watch you for ideas. Thanks 😊😊😊

I totally agree this was original, and it worked as you described!
Well I got it back on anyway.. may not have been the traditional way.. but it’s working 🤗
Love these projects!
