I am trading in my surface pro 9(Costco) because of the absymal battery life. Every time I look at it it is below half
Do you have the Intel version or the arm version? I probably don't have to ask but... Yeah I agree I have a surface Pro from a couple generations before that and even the day I had at the battery life was terrible. It's basically married to the desk at this point and pretty much has been from day one. If I did use it out and about you pretty much have to have your charger with you at all times
Everyone is sick and tired of MicroBloat pushing aggressive behavior. Their forcing everyone to use their useless features, their pushing to use their useless browser and search engine, their forcing users to use Microsoft account, and release to many ads. Not only that, they try to spy on user’s privacy. This is really despicable, and Microsoft should ashamed on themselves. What they did is unforgivable and I hope they go bankrupt.😡😡😡😡😡 Because of this, everyone is starting to move to Linux. At least Linux respects users privacy and browser choice which is good to all users. Linux is becoming more popular and successful than ever thanks to Winblows 11 failures. This will the end of MicroBloat era and beginning of Linux era. Once MicroBloat is gone for good, Linux will filled the void left by MicroBloat demise.
Linux, Windows, macOS, Android and iOS are malware than real life because, in real life you can get oxygen

I really wish the Laptop 7 would have 5G. It's the reason I still work on a Thinkpad X1 Carbon although I really want a Surface Laptop.
This ARM thing sure seems promising. Thanks for the podcast. I already pre-ordered the Surface Pro 11th edition with 32GB RAM. Unfortunately it is only in silver color.

this podcast didn't age particularly well. The window Central guy and especially Zac article about it last week basically conceited that the primary security and critiques they are dismissing in this podcast we're valid once security researchers started publishing stuff on it. And now of course Microsoft has had to radically make changes to the process and now completely delayed it.

Either my Apple Podcast app is off or i missed some announcement. Was this week's podcast the first in over a month? I was excited to see this week's show and was surprised there was no mentioned of the long gap. hopefully it was well deserved vacation..
Yeah someone was mentioning this over on some subreddit maybe for the service duo or something that they might have mentioned something during their last broadcast of 2023 that they were going to be pivoting away from live versions of the podcast on UA-cam... But I can't confirm that that actually happened.
So a new surface GO is planned? That is wonderful news!
