Even if I could afford to get tickets to a Taylor Swift concert, and could afford to go to as many concerts as I wanted, I can’t imagine going to more than one of her concerts in a year. Even if we’re talking about Bruce Springsteen, I probably would draw the line at two or three on the same concert tour. But that’s just me. She is certainly not hurting anybody so if that’s what makes her happy…
My high from my first Springsteen concert lasted 3 years.

@@Marshall_Stacks I have never been to her shows, but if she tells any stories, or mixes up the playlist, it still cannot possibly be as varied as a Springsteen tour. But I have enjoyed at least 5 of her songs.

My mom went to a Beatles concert once and she said you couldn't hear them sing very well because of all the screaming fans.
The Beatles gave up performing live as early as 1966 exactly because of that. Sound equipment was weak back in the day, so they could not even hear themselves playing at times and were disappointed about fans being too busy with screaming to listen to their music.
@@einundsiebenziger5488 That's what I heard, too. I can't understand fans who scream like that at all. Even without the screaming fans, I think most concerts are too loud so I almost never go to concerts.

Every time I perform, almost everyone in the room tells me I have it, was the best person there that night, whatever, but no matter what I do, the venues all say, "No, we don't promote original artists, you have to play covers!". I've only ever performed four covers in my life and I refuse to do it! It would go against everything I stand for. How do you get to a place to be noticed by those that count?
