Just watching this now and realising that people were calling Messi ‘the greatest ever’ when he was 24. Man I don’t think people realise how crazy that is, not because they’re wrong. But because he was 24 and people were willing to call him the greatest ever only going off what he’d achieved by then

Plus his leadership of the young national side was instrumental. Part of being great is adapting as you get older, he is a different player now but picks his moments realising his physical limitations.

@@daradoesntcare6803 I made some numbers, these videos were for both PES 2010 and 2011 covers, so the shirt with the thinnest stripes is the oldest, the one on the thumbnail. That's the 2009/2010 shirt, and Messi was 22 back in 2009, and 23 the next year. I'm also 2 years younger than him, so it's a bit easier to know this.

Messi is a master, GOAT no doubt, it's crazy he can be so good with little skill, it's all body movement. Crazy he could not do the skills BIlly did on the plane.
