100% I try to eat like that at least 4x a week and save meat for something extra special but some ethically sourced butchers because unfortunately most supermarkets aren’t at least in the UK 😢
It’s great to see non vegetarians enjoying no meat foods. I’m allergic to soy. But there is something called goma dofu. It’s made from sesame seeds. Lyla the cutest little girl, keep up the good work Alfred, welcome back zen. ❤
We all love Zenn so much! Ps: tofu and dried soy beans absorbs A LOT no matter what so you always have to use more liquids. Soy itself taste like nothing so if you want the "meat" taste you have to know the condiments people.use for their recipes with meat and thats all. And if your sauce is super salty, use pasta water (if you dont put salt in the water to boil the pasta) or use a lil bit of boiled water.
I think there's something about making something yourself that makes you want to have it more, probably what kids like. So yes definitely involve her more if you can (& if it's safe enough)
BOTH of you are the stars of this show. Is not like one of you is better to watch, simply is that you both created this tik tok recipes video series along so we enjoy it better when both of you are in the video because that's how its was created from the beginning ❤❤❤❤
I love how Lyla wanted to match with Zen!!! It's true, the more the kids help out I think they'll be more excited to eat it. I've noticed that with my toddler too lol. Also my son loves to see Lyla he always asks "where's the baby and the daddy?" when I put on your cooking videos lol. I am vegan and I can't wait to try that shredded tofu bowl.
Yes I read somewhere...when babies are involving in their own food making process they are more interested in those particular foods....like u can make different shapes fruit cookies..... involve them....and different textures of food also babies tends to enjoy with less salt, Sugar and spices....
Yay! I was one of the people asking for this so thank you!! I'm so excited for this one 😊 vegan food has come a really long way but always good to learn new recipes, and I don't have tik tok. Would love a part 2 ❤
NGL these videos are 10x better with Zenn back, I love watching you two together 🤩 - in terms of other cuisines, I’d love to see some Singaporean, British, South African and Taiwanese recipes 😊
I love watching your tik tok recipe adventures so much! Welcome back Zen!! ☺ Just a note on the 3rd recipe she's using a type of pasta called 'Fusilli Lunghi ' - calls it noodles because american so I guess you could also make the recipe with other types of long pasta as well! but it looks yummy with noodles!
I love seeing you two together. Remind me of me and my sister. Just with Alfred or alone is still fun but you guys have a different bond and as a viewer the energy is so inviting. Like 2 bffs invited me to hang with them. lo
As a little kid my mum would stand me over the sink with some little cups and bowls and all the wet potato and carrot peels 😂 I would just play with them and make little cakes and things, it's the first kitchen memory I have and it was a great one. It definitely got me interested in the kitchen.
Finelly Zen is here yay 🎉🎉 sorry to say but without Zen your videos were uncompleted love your videos now going to sit back relax and watch the video ☺️❤
I feel like we need a food video where Lila picks the recipes....since she is now the official sue-chef on the channel! LOL Love seeing her help you cook!
My niece is 2 and she's learned to say "Wait. wait. Stop. stop." when she doesn't want me to assist her. lol Twinning with Aunties are the best. lol And yes, cooking with kids is actually encouraged. They are more likely to eat what they make because at an early age, they get to experience the sense of accomplishment and eating what they accomplished helps them take pride in what they completed. It helps boosts their self-esteem when they are praised for it as well.
Hey Tina...On the cauliflower recipe you have tried...u can make a batter with flour and spices and deep fry it.. throw some spices with a bunch of sauces (soy sauce, hot sauce etc) and heat it and add the fried cauliflower and then serve it with parsley and a bit of red onion...This is like a street food in India called Gobi Manchurian which is just divine ❤Do try this out🤗❤
Im so glad to see more people trying plant-based recipes and reducing their environmental impact! Ill be sharing this video with my friends who are curious about veganism and would love for them to explore the many delicious options out there
Throw you peanut butter in the pan or the microwave first. The dish was probably salty because you also veg stock. Add a dash of lemon or lime, brown sugar, you can definitely get creative with a peanut sauce 😊 mine has like 20 ingredients 😂
The peanut noodles is one of my go to quick meals. Has been forever. Long before the existence of tik tok. Can't believe that would be considered a viral recipe.
Please be careful when using mandollins. My mom uses a fork to hold whatever it is when it begins to get small enough that it's tough to hold the veggie. There are also gloves designed for that purpose so you don't cut yourself as easily
I need to look into those gloves. My sister just bought a mandolin that has a handle and I'm so nervous for her using it since we've never used something like it before
just make a batter for the caulliflower and dip it and fry it In India, we use cheakpea flour and some tumeric and chili powder/ chopped green chili to make the better. It is very very good and can be made with different veggies such as eggplant, coriander leaves, etc.
Kewpie mayo is made of eggs ;) And the curly noodles, if you get those super spicy chicken Korean noodle packets, the noodles themselves are curly, dense and bouncy
looks good! I've actually been craving for chinese peanut butter noodles and it should be easy enough to make at home so i'll give it a try. Also, I'm chinese so there's always Lao gan ma in my house lol
I would like to share some VEGAN food recipes from India. Khaman / Dhokla Khandvi Handvo (Vegan Lentil Cake) Thepla (Lots of vids on TT) Khichu/Papdi No Lot (look up recipe vid Sanjana.Feasts on Tikto ,Just before eating make sure to bend it like dough and dip in the oil before eating ) Hope you enjoy❤❤
Who's hungry? Don't forget to thumb this video 😜
Try some sri lanka foooooooooooodddsssss❤❤❤
Try some plzzzz
love your vids but you should try making carribean food just a request
I love your vids so much they are so positive I’ve been a fan for over 4 years now, keep doing what you do thank you !
The quickies recipes are all on her website plantyou
Lyla and Zen matching outfits is the most wholesome thing I've seen all week 🥺
Lyla and zen matching is adorable
For vegans watching this, please note that most Worcestershire sauces are NOT vegan, they often contain fish sauce. Lovely video! Lyla is so cute!!
Good to know, the girl who does the food videos probably doesn't know, she's new to cooking now, living on her own.
@@SaintShion 🙏
There is a vegan version called Hendersons Relish here in the UK. It's my go to over Worcestershire sauce.
@@RachelSmith-cb3kz oooh is there? I must try and get it here in Portugal! Thanks 😊
@SuzyTurner I hope you get your hands on a bottle, it goes great in most savoury dishes
I love when non-veg people try vegan and vegetarian foods!
I’m not vegan but have tried it several times. Not one regret!
100% I try to eat like that at least 4x a week and save meat for something extra special but some ethically sourced butchers because unfortunately most supermarkets aren’t at least in the UK 😢
If you don't want to grate the tofu, crumbling it up really small with your fingers gives it a similar texture to mince/ground meat!
welcome back Zen!! we love her 😭💕
“You’re just enabling me.” Had me dying.
I LEGIT CAME TO SEE IF ANY COMMENTS SAID SHE WAS BACK 😭💜
I love that you let layla help with the cooking. Kids who learn to cook at a young age usually have good relationship with food as they get older
It’s great to see non vegetarians enjoying no meat foods. I’m allergic to soy. But there is something called goma dofu. It’s made from sesame seeds. Lyla the cutest little girl, keep up the good work Alfred, welcome back zen. ❤
Zenn's look today is SO on point!! Love to see the gang back together!

Ahh you got me good thinking Zen had moved onto a different job!! Glad she’s back!
Tina moved to Vietnam , and Zen is living in Singapore , this is probably filmed a while ago when she visited them. Zen is still Tina editor.
@@blakpurl14no I got that, but when she introduced Zen she was very tricky. Just glad she’s back in the videos, even if it’s not all the time.
Tinaaa, your eye makeup is so beautiful. Makes your eyes pop! 😍

Zen dear, you're not alone grating your skin off of your thumb 😂😂❤❤
I swear everytime I remember Zen grating her finger I burst into laughter 😂
