I think as a student.. we don’t have proper guidance about our geo student… people have done their msc and still they are confused… Geo is a vast subject.. but there is lack of knowledge..

If you're interested in teaching than you can go for UGC NET/JRF exam
You can than apply for assistant professorship and if you clear JRF than you will get scholarship from UGC for your PHd
Otherwise you have to do some Diploma in GIS from a good institution like Symbiosis, pune
To get into this industry.

@infomusic5681 After doing msc in Geography, you can apply for ugc net and clear that exam if you want to be a lecturer, but if you want to work in industry that you should have knowledge of softwares so try to do msc in geoinformatics rather than doing msc geo

You have to be specific with your field like you can choose a specific domain to go further in this.
