I wonder how much the big goose with the hole broken in it went for? I think I would have taken a chance if it went cheap. I would have tried to fix it by getting a piece of heavy plastic cut larger than the hole, like a coffee can lid. Cut off the rim of the can lid because it would be too thick. string a piece of heavy string through the middle of the lid with a knot on one side and 6" or so of extra string on the other. Put that glue with the spray additive on the edges of the plastic lid and fold the lid like a taco and stuff it in the hole. Pull the string to snug it up against the inside of the goose against the hole and spray the additive to secure the plastic lid there. Then plaster up the cracks and hole on the swan and paint. Did that make sense?
Hey y’all from Houston. The USA vase is Shawnee. I just picked some in TX that I thought we’re Hull, but found out the one like yours is Shawnee. Hope this helps. ~ Kountry Junkin’
What a haul….🤎 love, love…LOVE that large brown swan. What a shame it was broken… but for $5! I can’t wait to see you restore it. Bo do to the rescue. I saw so many awesome pieces that I would keep for myself.
I have that orange glass flower frog. So many things you show from various hauls are in my house. I inherited from several generations of family members. It warms my heart to see them on your show.
You always end up with the best stuff. Anxious to see how you guys fix the swan :) Plenty of flips comin our way! Like I can't wait :)) I really think watching you lowers my blood pressure and that''s another perk of your channel. Hi Chris! You got some great stuff too! Thanks Guy's . God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
I would have bought the swan .You can fix it and if you can't get it like you want you can always put something around it's neck. I think it's beautiful 😍
*WOW‼️ What a treasure trove of items you were able to buy at this auction❣️ I loved this video❣️❣️❣️🤍🤎🖤 I am going to watch it again‼️* *I always cringe when people pick up swans, ducks and other birds by the neck because they often get broken. 😔 GOOD ON YOU FOR BEING WILLING to take on the challenge to fix the broken swan❣️ Maybe you could fill the inside of the hollow body with spray foam before you repaired the broken pieces of the swan with Bondo? YOU DO GREAT WORK, so I KNOW YOU WILL SUCCEED in fixing it. 😊*
Boy oh boy, you got some amazing stuff. Ohhh, how I wish I lived in Michigan just so I can go to those great auctions that you n Chris go to. It would even be better if I lived closer to your town then I could go shopping at your booth LOL. I can dream can’t I? Seriously I can’t get over of all you got. Just to visualize in my head of it all makes my heart flutter. My heart did skip a beat when I saw that lawyer’s bookcase with the lead glass. It looked just like mine. I’m happy for you both in your great haul. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟
You might think it’s boring for us but I would enjoy seeing how you both set up your booths. What’s your top seller. Etc. unless you aren’t allowed to film in the building.
Super great haul! I love everything. Can't wait to see you and Chris work your magic fixing the Swan. Wish I could of been at that auction. TFS your treasures Yvonne and Chris. Your booths looks so inviting.
Oh I am in heaven right now. I feel as if I went along shopping estate saling with you two and I did not even have to stand around for 10 hours! I loved it and it did not cost me a thing!❤😊😊
There were some great things at that auction and you certainly got a lot of them I had to smile at the pressed flower pictures as I used to make and sell them in the 1970s ! Your booths are looking good and hope you continue to get lots of sales 😊❤
How exciting that you got those swans ! Again, many items to drool over 😁😁😁😁 Love the Chickens in the Pigeon carrier! Glad to see you got that too! Your Booths look so nice, how I wish I was closer ! That Transfer Ware Tea Pot, what color is that ? Is it a purplish color? This video I need to watch again! Lately I have been watching your channel before bed, then I fall asleep 🥴🥴🥴🥴 and pick it up in the morning..but this deserves another viewing 👍🥰👍
Great haul y'all! So sorry about the broken swan. The booths look wonderful even if they aren't as full as you'd like them to be. Goodness, when do y'all rest? I know you are probably like me, fueled by the thrill and excitement of searching and shopping. I would love the old book. I recently bought one from a thrift shop, they must not have researched it, it's a first printing from 1814!! (Can't put the title out here in cyberspace) I know, right! Of course it's going to stay with me. I hope y'all can successfully patch up and fix the swan. Take care! xx
What a great video! Lots of good stuff! Love the little chipped pitcher. Love the little blue fish and all the swans!! The thing I liked most was Chris’ reply to the one earring, he must know a pirate somewhere! You two are so special and I enjoy every one of your videos! Blessings to you! Loved all the littles, too!!
That Barrister's Cabinet really caught my attention. I Passed up on one a couple years ago and have regretted it ever since. Loved all the swans. I had one a few years ago but got rid of so many things when moving into the condo 12 years ago. I love you two.
For the swan I would try using loctite gaps and cracks. Let it set up a bit then add the broken pieces toward the end of curing. You could sand cracks when dry.
I don't know if my husband would have been patient enough to stay that long at an auction. He might surprise me though. Im almost afraid to go to auctions. Im afraid i would end up with some hideous lawn ornament if i scratched my nose!
I would have bought the swan especially with some of the pieces the swan is very nice. I was hoping you bought th fireking jadite and the green depression plates. Love the metal leaf piece. Amazing cloche, cheese box is cool, great wire baskets. Work shop supplies are always a good find. Fun video
I so enjoy these hauls... So much information and I learn so much. So many beautiful (in their own way) treasures... One can see that you two absolutely love what you do... Good for you!
Great haul. I hope to one day be in the area to visit your booth. At the beginning of video i thought to ask to see your booth and what do ya know... there they were. Wow! BTW how much did you pay for the cloche? Did I hear 200 or that they go for that?
Oh my..... that hudge crock T the end of your video what size is that? Also coming to Michigan in October from London Ontario What are you asking for it?
Those are nice reproduction weathervanes. If it’s really an antique. Go and get an opinion from Skinner/ Bohman (sp?) or even Christie’s. The Americana department. They can only say no. Easy peazy- I love primitives/ Americana. Wish I was in your area. Although it might be bad for my wallet. :)
Thanks I’ll check in with you a little later, and see if you still have either one of them. I’ll have to save up some green. Would you be willing to ship them?
Can you tell me how much you paid for the large closhe? I have a chance to buy one same size for $40, and i was wondering if this is a reasonable price. Thank You...
Fill the swan with expanding foam. Cut away the excess, you'll have a solid surface to puzzle together the broken pieces.
Your thinking the same thing I was thinking 😉
I agree
That’s a good idea for any hollow broken item around home!!
Loving the antique haul y’all got!! Soo much that I like from each of you!!!❤️💫❤️
I am amazed how many beautiful swans you see. Can’t say I have seen one out there. Just the real ones. Gorgeous.
And Canada geese. Lots of those.

Nice haul - beautiful pieces
Great haul. I hope to one day be in the area to visit your booth. At the beginning of video i thought to ask to see your booth and what do ya know... there they were. Wow! BTW how much did you pay for the cloche? Did I hear 200 or that they go for that?
Oh.. that’s not what I paid.. I’m sorta cheap 🥴 on of the auction we went to one went for $275😳
you bought lots of fun stuff!! What price do you have on the very cool Orb??
It’s old and heavy and large. We are asking $125..
Oh my..... that hudge crock T the end of your video what size is that?
Also coming to Michigan in October from London Ontario
What are you asking for it?
I believe it’s $120 in our 3rd booth?
Those are nice reproduction weathervanes.
If it’s really an antique. Go and get an opinion from Skinner/ Bohman (sp?) or even Christie’s.
The Americana department.
They can only say no. Easy peazy-
I love primitives/ Americana. Wish I was in your area. Although it might be bad for my wallet. :)
How much are you asking for those tall white pitchers in your first booth? I love them they’re beautiful.
The ironstone ones? $45-$80
Thanks I’ll check in with you a little later, and see if you still have either one of them. I’ll have to save up some green. Would you be willing to ship them?
I enjoyed this video and I am interested in purchasing the black Face Mask.
I'm not sure .. I can't remember the black face mask?
I got some vintage levels recently. My question is do you sell them as is or add coat hooks and repurpose them. What does the hubby say?😅
Sell them as is... theres old tool collectors
Oh you got it LOL!
Did you ever fix the hole in the swan ? I can’t rest till I know 😂
Coming up soon
Heck yah I would have bought the swan four bucks❤
You really scored ❤
Can you tell me how much you paid for the large closhe? I have a chance to buy one same size for $40, and i was wondering if this is a reasonable price. Thank You...
The price tag was still on it for $95 .. so I’d say $40 is a great deal
Looks like a lot to me lol
Hi Yvon, how much are the wood arches?
In my inventory? $24 a piece. But I’m always willing to deal
@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney let me get back to you ok. Thanks Yvonne.
