Sorry you couldn’t go sit Tuesday, Rich. I saw that the bar was closed and I knew you had said you were hoping to go fishing. I was able to get out again on Saturday. We had the best fishing that I’ve ever had on my little boat! Thanks for sharing about your boat and shouting out Fishing 247. I also follow him. Great channel!
I thought the larger Duckworths were self bailing out the back. Maybe the newer ones are? I will never own a boat that is not self bailing as you cannot count on the bilge pumps.
The deck is self bailing - When mored the Duckworths slope forward away from the rear deck drains and gather water in the mid fish box Hope that explains it Thanks for watching
It did great as long as you put airbags on the back and use it for short trips flatland preferred If you do longer trips and hills with grades you would want to go diesel
Thys a kit boat from Cope. Make it yourself for 30% of retail. On your fish box, add a bimi top above to stop water falling over the fish box For the bottom coating, use Speedcoat 49. Hydrophobic paint that is super easy to roll on to salty aluminum and it’s what all the race boats use. Saved me approx 15% on fuel. (my $0.02)
It's great! The best thing is it's a very quiet compared to my last neighborhood, the old neighborhood got way very overgrown over the last 10 years hope to see some more of your videos soon!
@@Fv_wake_n_bait Duckworths answer to the water in the fish box is drill holes in the side of the boat and install scuppers so the water drains while moored I'll pass on that do to the chance of getting corrosion under the paint
Thank you brother for shout out. Really appreciate it. I wished we could have rain down here. How long have you had your boat on the water? The bottom really look bad. I hope you will get your boat fixed and back into actions soon.
it's been in the water for 1 year they are working on it right now I should have it back in a week or two and be back in action as long as the ocean cooperates! Sometimes the ocean can be pretty nasty November December Stay safe and keep the videos coming!!
There is an easier way to launch. You get to the edge tie a rope to the trailer and boar unhook the safety chain and winch then back into the water and hit the brakes your boat then slides right off the trailer you then pull it in by the rope hope on tie it to the dock or beach then pull trailer out

Well it sounds like the pressure washed it and will have to scrape the rest of them off the guys at Newport Marine and RV are good guys I'm sure they'll get it handled for me

Hot boat in moorage likely causes electrolysis to the side with the barnacles.....my guess.

Most charter boats actually chat on a 2 meter radio, if you have a ham lisc. Easy peasy!
