Evil Morty is a calculating emotionally genius Morty that doesnt care about anything other than having peace He doesnt hate our rick and doesnt have any plan other than living alone and everyone fucking off If any evil morty episodes come up its because someone fucked with him
Agreed. Evil Morty wants to escape and is remaking the Omega Device as insurance. He knows if he kills every Rick, the smartest Summers and Mortys will come after him and he cannot use a device against an infinite amount of smart Mortys who care for their Ricks. Evil Morty knows this because Rick Prime's death is proof of that.
Thank you, so many people reviewing this episode think that the Rick with a scar is just a different Rick that Evil Morty found. But you realized that it’s just his Rick, being controlled by Morty. It’s so annoying that no one else gets that. Thank you
I knew from the moment Rick prime was introduced as the next big bad that our Rick would feel like he didn’t have anything else to shoot for after defeating him. I wonder how the rest of the season will go with him feeling this way.
I think it's rather obvious where things might be headed. Rick realizes prime rick was right hence why he looks so broken. But, rick also realized something else Every rick in a way is like prime rick. So, I think our rick will go after evil morty to get the omega diver so he can erase himself and every last rick.
I think Rick already has an omega device of some kind. Remember the episode where he tried to commit suicide? Apparently that was capable of also wiping out all other versions of himself
Ooh, that'd be a great series finale. Especially if after tracking EM down to get the device, he has a chance to tell EM that he's sorry that both He (Rick) and every other Rick are a bunch of a$$holes to their respective Mortys and that he's going to fix that.
There's a simpler explanation: Hunting RickPrime was Rick's primary motivation for existing. His life's work. And now it's over. It's done. He used to like to pretend he was a free agent with no purpose as he stumbled through the multiverse, but now he actually has no reason to continue living. C-137 is going to hit depression HARD.
Who else finds it extremely dark that his Rick had his consciousness? Yeah, that Rick was drunk and aggressive idiot but our Rick was the same. And now imagine if OUR Morty fked him up like that and didnt allow to go through all the development. Instead he wouldnt have control over his body and tries to kill himself to be free. Thats terrifying to think just how much scary sht our Rick and Morty avoided
Also can we appreciate how beautiful rick primes death was? After all this he died AFTER epic sci fi battle. He doesnt die in cool action. He dies with our rick violently and slowly punching him in the face. He doesnt get shot, not obliterated in atoms, doesnt even get blown up. Rick ends him with his own arms releasing all the hatred he had for him. And this scene was executed so greatly.
Naw, I like the fact that evil morty is a genius, it makes him truly different from the other Mortys and it makes him unpredictable. Also, Rick beating Prime to death is one of the coolest scenes I have seen
what is everyone talking about? I only noticed the new voice actors once for rick in the first episode and once for morty in the episode before this one. Honestly its not that bad, voice actors change all the time. Hell real actors change!
@@OmegaMouse Every member of the Scooby doo gang, Meg & Lois from family-guy. Uncle Iroh from Avatar TLAB. Courtney from Total Drama. Ferb from Phineas & Ferb, Turanga from Futurama, the main character from Recess. I cant remember which characters but Animeniacs had a bunch of voice actor swaps. Do Muppets count, cause they sure have had A LOT. Simpsons has many like Mr Burns and Moe.
"awkward transition" Dude, I literally didn't think it had happened yet, I thought these were already recorded lines, tf you mean awkward, thats as seamless as it gets, i fully didn't notice.
Personally I think Rick getting his revenge on Prime should’ve been a series finale, an ending to the entire series. It would also leave it on a cliff hanger sure but it completes Ricks story and his life’s goal
Well now we can see Rick deal with the fact that he completed his goal; his motives for everything he's done is no more. It can be very interesting if done right.
The whole reason it wasn't is so that the viewers could feel that sense of emptiness and confusion on what happens next. The same with Rick experiencing existential dread and emptiness after revenge. We as viewers are still expecting further episodes this season with Rick and Morty doing something whacky. But now, it suddenly reaches a halting point when the whole main plot suddenly ends. This is the same for Rick. His journey for revenge has ended and now does not know what comes after.
@@RealGuyPersonI might just be weird, but I don't think I'd be empty after getting revenge. I'd honestly feel completed knowing that I achieved my goal and would be at peace. If I was Rick, I'd focus on all of the things I wasn't able to previously do and just move on.
It's interesting you take that interpretation of Evil Morty when he's clearly shown having at least enough competency to use Rick's tech to enslave him. From there, using what you've already picked up from experience and the outsider perspective then making that Rick improve you to the point where you don't need him does make a lot of sense. It's like using a genie to make yourself a powerful sorcerer.
Honestly, I loved the dynamic between rick AND each morty. Weirdly enough it's just... like, a better version of their dynamic with summer. Hopefully we get to see more of that.
Evil morty would have to be smarter than Rick to be able to outsmart all Rick's and get outside the finite curve and to be able to survive that dimension. I very much enjoy seeing a morty smarter than rick for a change.
Remember when Story Lord says, "Don't you want to see how your story ends?" with Evil Morty at the helm of the army? IMO, that's a peak into the true final showdown, and Evil Morty will always be the true Big Bad of the show. Full reset. I love it to be honest. Lazy writing would have continued to drag out the Rick Prime story. That episode EASILY could have been the finale. The fact that it wasn't shows that there are MANY more big things to come in the canonical aspect of the show. Can't wait. Also can't wait to see the return of Doofas rick, or the "One True Morty", or even the OP Jerry from the comic books. Why would Evil Morty be worried about a bunch of Summers? Because there's Summers out there that even HE is scared of. Infinite universes MEANS infinite universes.
Okay, are people really complaining about the Voices as much as this video makes it seem? Because I only really noticed the voices were different, like... twice.
honestly seeing how things are outside the central finite curve i think morty’s not gonna destroy rick or anyone but instead portal travel itself at least for multiverse type as that would legit be the ultimate f u to all rick’s a permeant erasure of portal travel also i don’t think prime rick is dead i wouldn’t be supprised if he had a clone that already has all his memories stored and just like rick created his car battery that’s his safe space hidden from the rest of the multiverse also wondering did he kill his wife
For Evil Morty I noticed some similarities with him and prime rick. Mostly the universe outside the curve. Lot of chaos, mess, death, and busy grunt work. Prime Rick killed Beth and made the Ricks follow his path... So more Ricks in one area all building a similar dome like Evil Morty. Only their place was bigger and better because it had had multiple copies of the same man building it. If all it takes is for a morty to get fed up and kill their Rick to become eye patch varient... Will Evil Morty go down a similar path to make his little slice of paradise a reality?
I don't agree. This was the first episode where I totally DID NOT notice the new actors. Previous season 7 episodes barely had morty speaking because he was the weaker of the 2 voices. This both explained rick prime's origin and motivation, and explained evil morty's motivation and experience- post sentinel. You called this one totally wrong.
Prime Rick was so strong, powerful and smart that neither Rick C-137, nor "Evil" Morty could defeat him alone. It was there combined strength and minds which was able to overpower Prime Rick.
Yet in the end it was thanks to Morty they took him down. Since if evil Morty did not switch places with normal Morty, the prime Rick wouldnt lower his guard and get f...d in the end.
I do mostly agree with your point about Evil Morty that they should have kept him as just a crafty, manipulative person instead of the intelligent "outsmarting Rick" one we got, I personally was able to look past that because most of the things Evil Morty does/knows about pertains to dimensional travel and the multiverse, which we know he must've studied exstensively on for his whole plan. That area of study is probably something he's got mastery in, which would explain why he's able to help out Rick so easily with certain problems that arose in the episode, along with the fact that he's simply another set of eyes to view a problem which would help mitigate being stuck in one perspective. Not to mention Evil Morty is super cold and calculating and is just overall efficient in his actions.
Evil Morty has always been smart and knows the tech Rick uses. He is not smarter and craftier than the other Ricks but he takes advantage of them when necessary. We know he can craft mind control technologies to make an army of Ricks do stuff for him. In other words, Evil Morty is a strategist and an opportunist, not a powerhouse.
Also, let’s not forget that he made a force field to protect himself from laser blast by Rick and everyone saying Evil Morty ain’t smart. Ya’ll are tripping.
The current is actually Prime rick switches place with C137 , the clue is in season 1 episode 6 at the end rick and morty switch places with the dead rick and morty from conanberg universe there is a same back ground song plays at this time
Basic (bell curve) statistical math makes the idea of an Evil Morty being smarter than any Rick, much less Rick Prime as unbelievable. I found this portrayal kind of... insulting.
Those not other ricks who refused portal travel. Like it was stated in the episode Prime and our Rick are the only two Ricks who figured out Interdimetional portal travel on their own.
Evil Morty learned how download the inventions & thoughts of Ricks. If his intelligence is plot armor, then so is Ricks'. Hes literally copying their minds into his.
The VA’s did a good job. This is also what happened with the looney tune’s show where people didnt like the new voices even when they were fine if not very good. Just bc its different doesnt mean its bad Also, i really like the direction they took EM. I was afraid after the episode he left, they were just gonna make a joke about him being killed the second he left the finite curve but they didnt. I like how he’s an unpredictable variable in this series and we dont know what he’s planning
I'm also a huge fan of EM, but it's a little disappointing that all we get to see of his life without Rick is a solitary space palace. I had hoped he was exploring more, but he escaped the finite curve and then just vibes alone in space lol
@@thirdnebula1823 tbf he has done a lot of exploring of the multiverse when he was with rick. Being in or outside of the curve doesnt change the multiverse that much, it just changes who the most intelligent person is
I don't think we should call him evil morty any more, he proved all he wanted was away from the chaos of Rick. He didn't come back till c137 was shaking the multiverse. Then he just came back to end rick prime so other Rick's would stop looking.
I just wanna know if Diane was erased across dimensions was Rick raising Beth throughout her childhood? Though Rick could've easily made robot versions of him to take care of her.

2:22 That doesn't really make sense. Because most Ricks share this fate, that's why they are all so grumpy all the time and why our Rick could switch dimensions so often: The previous Rick shared the same fate.
Bro, what got me in this episode is the ending credits when mobius wife had a phase like rick but instead she meet someone at the same situation and resolve everything , i mean why rick couldn't have this happiness instead, at least one rick.
I wish there was a Rick who was smart enough to realize there was a Rick prime and sent Diane to a different universe where there was no ricks to live a happier life and she realizes this and comes back to find c-137 Rick
someone pointed this out but seeing as e.morty is smart enough to outsmart rick prime himself, its fair to say that he is smart enough to capture rick prime on his own or at the very least find him, which evidently, he did in the episode, however he still went with c137 to find him together and the reason for that is probably the love for adventure that is deeply ingrained to a morty and that despite e.m being tired of everyone's bs, deep down, even if unconsciously, he still wanted quality adventure with his grandfather.

How are you shocked that evil morty is so smart, his way to escape the curve was something even c137 didn't understand until the last second.
Rick literally made the curve
@tehgxn4902 so?
@@Gametastica how did he not understand the curve if he’s the one that created it?

Seeing Rick beat prime to death was oddly gruesome

@@thatOneViewer1856 ASMR is already ASMR for the brain
Well he did it in the "Primal" way, with no tech and gagets.
Evil Morty is a calculating emotionally genius Morty that doesnt care about anything other than having peace
He doesnt hate our rick and doesnt have any plan other than living alone and everyone fucking off
If any evil morty episodes come up its because someone fucked with him
We found out that Morty truly have cyber implats like Rick.
Thank you, so many people reviewing this episode think that the Rick with a scar is just a different Rick that Evil Morty found. But you realized that it’s just his Rick, being controlled by Morty. It’s so annoying that no one else gets that. Thank you
wtf?? it was obvious in the episode of evil mortys debut
People also aren't realizing that Evil Morty is smart because of the brain scans haha
I knew from the moment Rick prime was introduced as the next big bad that our Rick would feel like he didn’t have anything else to shoot for after defeating him. I wonder how the rest of the season will go with him feeling this way.
this may be the best episode of Rick and Morty in the entire series
I think it's rather obvious where things might be headed. Rick realizes prime rick was right hence why he looks so broken. But, rick also realized something else
Every rick in a way is like prime rick. So, I think our rick will go after evil morty to get the omega diver so he can erase himself and every last rick.
That would be an AMAZING FINALE
Damn this is spot on. Even when dying, Prime Rick called C137 Rick a hypocrite and was right considering all the events leading up to this moment.
@@Senth99literally especially since evil morty told our morty that after he kills R.P he might just kill himself next
Tbh I don't notice it the voice different not going to lie
There's a simpler explanation: Hunting RickPrime was Rick's primary motivation for existing. His life's work. And now it's over. It's done. He used to like to pretend he was a free agent with no purpose as he stumbled through the multiverse, but now he actually has no reason to continue living. C-137 is going to hit depression HARD.
I mean you can't leave the finite curve or whatever without becoming book smart along the way.
@@CF-or3ciYeah, it was done very well
I didn't even noticed there was a change in voice actors it's so good.
Evil morty has been my favorite character since the citadel episode
honestly rick prime is the true evil rick.
Evil morty being so intelligent makes sense as he's scanned so many ricks brains
I’m just waiting for Rick’s next therapy session.
Evil Morty: "The worst turd is a pizza."
What's that supposed to even mean?
After he said the episode was like in, I stop watching the video then and there lol
Dude, the way evil Morty ended Rick Prime is the most evil Morty move ever
Naw, I like the fact that evil morty is a genius, it makes him truly different from the other Mortys and it makes him unpredictable. Also, Rick beating Prime to death is one of the coolest scenes I have seen
You see the flash in the garage with evil morty. He may have used a machine to give himself ricks intelligence.
I truly believe that this is, at the moment, the best season of Rick and Morty so far (my opinion) and this episode just confirmed it!

what is everyone talking about? I only noticed the new voice actors once for rick in the first episode and once for morty in the episode before this one. Honestly its not that bad, voice actors change all the time. Hell real actors change!

I cant remember which characters but Animeniacs had a bunch of voice actor swaps. Do Muppets count, cause they sure have had A LOT. Simpsons has many like Mr Burns and Moe.
his intelligence did not seem off to me, he easily could have downloaded a rick's science smarts off screen
Honestly, the voice actor change was not very jarring. I barely notice it.
"awkward transition" Dude, I literally didn't think it had happened yet, I thought these were already recorded lines, tf you mean awkward, thats as seamless as it gets, i fully didn't notice.
Honestly, the VAs are great. I can't tell the difference.
Personally I think Rick getting his revenge on Prime should’ve been a series finale, an ending to the entire series. It would also leave it on a cliff hanger sure but it completes Ricks story and his life’s goal
Yeah but they didn't give him the clear ending and Evil Morty has not yet been widely explored
They wanted to avoid that cliche so Rick now has to deal with his own worst enemy: himself
Goes to show what people are capable of when pushed enough.
The beatdown by Rick-C137 on Rick Prime had a distinctly Batman vs. Joker vibe to it.
You forget evil Morty downloaded Rick mind. Who not to say he not using it as a Ai in his tech
All I heard is Rick and so I imagine someone might say that take a drink every time he said Rick
Doofus Jerry
To add to this, we’ve seen a glimpse of what Summer can be capable of via night Summer who said she’s always been there just kept hidden.
What about Evil Mr. Poopybutthole?
i feel like evil morty was setting himself up to be the one true morty and build himself an army of morties until our morty derailed those plans.
I thought our Morty instigating the uprising in that episode made him the One True Morty
Rick prime isn’t dead he’s too smart he gave himself regeneration…
The new voice actors feel barely noticeable. Even better at times.
Okay, are people really complaining about the Voices as much as this video makes it seem? Because I only really noticed the voices were different, like... twice.
I love this episode so much
honestly seeing how things are outside the central finite curve i think morty’s not gonna destroy rick or anyone but instead portal travel itself at least for multiverse type as that would legit be the ultimate f u to all rick’s a permeant erasure of portal travel also i don’t think prime rick is dead i wouldn’t be supprised if he had a clone that already has all his memories stored and just like rick created his car battery that’s his safe space hidden from the rest of the multiverse also wondering did he kill his wife
Evil morty seems to be more of a rick but not an enemy he really just wants to be left alone.
Evil Morty carried the episode, bro's a fucking menace.
I really loved this episode. If this is the series finale, I wouldn't complain
1:49 Evil Morty did not kill the Rick Prime decoy, Morty Prime did.
"It's over isn't it? Why can't I move on?" - Pearl
Let's not forget Evil Morty tortured hundreds of Morty.
@@Zibi21 Well, our Morty is important too.
The original comics made it very clear evil morty has always been a genuine from the beginning.
Good point I agree with u bro
The current is actually Prime rick switches place with C137 , the clue is in season 1 episode 6 at the end rick and morty switch places with the dead rick and morty from conanberg universe there is a same back ground song plays at this time
I really dont understand people complaining about the new VA. They sound pretty much the same, just enjoy the show, jesus.
7:29 Ladies and gents, i present to you, Two-face or in other words, Rick-face lol
No. He killed every single rick's Wife, not only the ones in the room
I'll tell you this, I hate that it's broadcasted and not on a streaming service the day of release.
Evil morty was always considered a genius in the series it was made very clear in the original comics.
I forgot Cartoon Universe did Rick and Morty videos because it's been so long
Basic (bell curve) statistical math makes the idea of an Evil Morty being smarter than any Rick, much less Rick Prime as unbelievable.
I found this portrayal kind of... insulting.
Those not other ricks who refused portal travel. Like it was stated in the episode Prime and our Rick are the only two Ricks who figured out Interdimetional portal travel on their own.
Also Evil Morty was not rest to his original universe bc he is outside that curve, are you even watching the show?
The voices haven’t really bothered me. Sure they are different but they are still Rick and Morty.
I couldn't tell these are new actor's
The one person Evil Morty can't Omega out of existence, is Morty.
Evil Morty learned how download the inventions & thoughts of Ricks. If his intelligence is plot armor, then so is Ricks'. Hes literally copying their minds into his.
Seems like a simple calculus from evil morty's perspective. "I help him ice this guy and maybe he'll FINALLY leave me alone forever."
The VA’s did a good job. This is also what happened with the looney tune’s show where people didnt like the new voices even when they were fine if not very good. Just bc its different doesnt mean its bad
Also, i really like the direction they took EM.
@@thirdnebula1823 Dude just wants to be alone, he's living his best life.
@@thirdnebula1823 tbf he has done a lot of exploring of the multiverse when he was with rick. Being in or outside of the curve doesnt change the multiverse that much, it just changes who the most intelligent person is
evil morty being smart made sense, due to the fact that he had to watch the memories of ricks that he hunted back in season 1
I don't even hear a difference in the voices in this episode. You have to be really looking for it I would imagine.
Pretty sure Evil Morty downloaded Rick mind into his own. Which is why he's so smart.
I don't think we should call him evil morty any more, he proved all he wanted was away from the chaos of Rick. He didn't come back till c137 was shaking the multiverse. Then he just came back to end rick prime so other Rick's would stop looking.
he could have just left c137 dead too
I mean he did make a smoothie out of every Rick and Morty on the citadel.
I just wanna know if Diane was erased across dimensions was Rick raising Beth throughout her childhood? Though Rick could've easily made robot versions of him to take care of her.
Gumball changes voice actors and nobody cares. Rick and morty have their actors changed and the entire internet freakes out
Right? People were over reacting and reaching into how they sounded "so much worse". They sounded just fine.
I don’t think evil Morty was originally as smart as a Rick, I think he uploaded all those Ricks’ mind scans into his own brain.
Evil Morty knows how people function. That's what makes him deadly. He's living like a Rick even though he hates him.
That last dialogue between the two Ricks was like Flash vs Reverse Flash
It took me a minute to get the “worst turd is a pizza” joke😂. Basically a negative by a negative is a positive
The worst of something good, would be the worst at being what makes it good
The worst of something bad, would be the worst at being so what makes it bad
If worst pizza is a moldy turd, then the worst turd would be the most delicious pizza.😂 well played evil morty
2:22 That doesn't really make sense. Because most Ricks share this fate, that's why they are all so grumpy all the time and why our Rick could switch dimensions so often: The previous Rick shared the same fate.
I feel the new voices are settling in fine. Though there are moments that doesn’t give the same tone but not much you can do about it
Bro, what got me in this episode is the ending credits when mobius wife had a phase like rick but instead she meet someone at the same situation and resolve everything , i mean why rick couldn't have this happiness instead, at least one rick.
I wish there was a Rick who was smart enough to realize there was a Rick prime and sent Diane to a different universe where there was no ricks to live a happier life and she realizes this and comes back to find c-137 Rick
7:15 "One must imagine Rick being happy"
someone pointed this out but seeing as e.morty is smart enough to outsmart rick prime himself, its fair to say that he is smart enough to capture rick prime on his own or at the very least find him, which evidently, he did in the episode, however he still went with c137 to find him together and the reason for that is probably the love for adventure that is deeply ingrained to a morty and that despite e.m being tired of everyone's bs, deep down, even if unconsciously, he still wanted quality adventure with his grandfather.
