Please take note that if you are visiting Ciutadella parking is extremely difficult. This transfers into nyon impossible during weekends and any festivals full stop a better option will be to get the bus from Mahon that goes across the island into Ciutadella
Hi lorraine, I looked into this before I took my stroke paralysed mum in 2019, I'm afraid I couldn't find any where and she had to put up with a folding manual wheelchair we took with us. It is possible with notification to the airline to take your own though, we could have got hers on the plane but the problem was finding someone who would rent us us a WAV in Menorca itself. If you have one that could be lifted into the back of a large hire car, that could work. Do you have people to go with you?.
@@ianbailey8559 hi Ian, no I don’t have one here to take, but friends have told me that they are available in mainland Spain, I’ll just take my wheelchair. @@lorrainefleming2738 It will be really worth the effort Lorraine, I took my mum at the beginning of October the weather was fantastic, the beaches deserted and the sea still very warm. I think we were fortunate as there can be thunderstorms then. We usually go in June before the summer rush and heat, May is beautiful (many wild flowers but can be cooler. There is a very different atmosphere on Menorca to the other Balearics.
