Idk about "waiting for your time" in college though, because if you're trying to make it to the pros for whatever sport you play, you want to show how good you are as soon as possible. So when you spend a whole year not getting playing time, that's less time you have to show scouts how good you are. This is why I don't have any issue with the transfer portal at all tbh.

If Primo returns, Gurley will sit, Primo will start there. Burnett will get mins bc Coach Oats offense revolves around spreading the court with 4 guards and 3pt shooting. Burnett, just told you thank you for the story. In a 3 guard starting line up he can be a starter which I know he did not go to Alabama not to start. Definitely JD will and Jelly but Burnett will be as they dont have a shooter like him. Look at BB he did not play well at Kentucky yet he entered the draft. So what he saw broken promises and it impacted him so to say he quit? What about they lied? This is very one sided, you should have asked him what happened before labeling someone a quitter. Seems like you make a living off the misfortune of black athletes. What should we call that especially for a guy who is always quoting scriptures. It is a scripture that says judge not so ye may not be judged. Or, let the first one without sin cast the first stone. Why would it be a long line of coaches wanting a quitter? Also, it was another 4-5 star recruit who left the team as well be Burnett did, so why did not bring his name up? In addition to a pattern of this coach not keeping top tier talent that keeps transferring, but no lets slander a good kid who comes from a home with a mother and father and incredible work ethic to piece of garbage as a person. You really need to leave the personal stuff out and just tell the story bro, I even wondered what happened to him, but saw he went to Bama.

I care that he shoots 89% from the ft line. Bc if bama wlda made fts against ucla. They wldve advanced. Moronic statement there lol bc alot of the alltime greats would tell u that FT shooting is maybe the most important part of the game, bc it matters. 28/18% (FG/3PT) wnt be what this guy is consistently in his career.. Book that for sure

He wanted to be a star......he went to Alabama. He wanted to be one and done instead of going to a school to develope. Michigan offered. She should've went. His father is hyping him. Talented but impatient and immature. You don't quit on your team period.

Those lessons you speak of are overrated... They're positioning themselves to maximize their earning potential. No different than anybody in demand in the corporate or industrial work force... It may not always work out. But when you're as blessed as these guys are, you have to do whatever you can to get it.. That method may not work for everyone. But that's their life to live.
