Very informative and professional review, thank you. I think the reason to keep the watch at 38hrs reserve, and not adding the extra diver wet suit extension bracelet is to keep the weight down as the taper proves that. It is an elegant watch and vintage design. Beautiful watch to wear, light and comfortable. Best
Thank you for watching Ross. I like retro divers too. My Tudor Black Bay was one of my favourite watches I have owned. I like the no-crown guards cases, and domed crystals on vintage divers, and heritage reissues of them. Regards.
Cool watch for sure! I have 7” wrist and as my all divers (Seiko mainly) are between 42-45mm totally fine. This Oris diver 65 is usually suggested take 40 in this range. Most likely it is because 40 has lug to lug sweet 48mm. I am balancing between 40-42. I wear field watch between 39-41 as they don’t have rotating bezel.
Very nice looking watch. I really like the Oris Divers Sixty Five. The dial is pleasing to look at. Of all the watches Oris has to offer, this is one of the best. They need to do something about that bracelet however............... Regards,
@S W Thank you. It's a great watch. Mine gains about 2 - 3 seconds a day. I first thought the bracelet was a bit slim, dainty looking, and not very manly. But I've come to appreciate its lightweight comfort. I also thought that I should have gone for the bi-coloured bracelet option. And again, I've grown to love the contrast between the black and bronze head against the steel bracelet. The crystal has a lovely blue hue to it as well. It's a very attractive piece. Though, I have since bought an older style, pre-owned Breitling Superocean chrono in blue (A13340) for £1500. And I have to say I wish I'd just bought the Breitling. I'm absolutely in love with it, in a way that the Oris can't compete. The one thing about the Oris that I didn't like is where the bracelet fits to the lugs. It's a bit loose and the bracelet 'wiggles'. I notice from watching videos that they all do it. It's as though there's several microns of play. I'd have preferred a stricter tolerance at the factory.
Thanks for sharing this excellent review, John. I love the vintage look of this piece. The only odd bit for me, as you also said, is the bracelet, with the rivets going only half way down it... just doesn’t look right. Thoroughly enjoyed your critique. Regards
Thank you for watching Mario. Glad you enjoyed it. It would have looked better with the rivet links all the way round like the Tudor Black Bay. The reason why they didn't is the use of push pins rather than screw pins in the links. On a Black Bay some of the rivets are screws for resizing the bracelet. A better option would be just to remove all the rivet links and have an Oyster style bracelet with screw pins. Regards.
Great review which goes without saying. I personally love the whole piece even the bracelet would not bother me one jot but that is just me. Top notch as usual especially when you highlight a better spec movement could be implemented and also the bracelet when it comes to aesthetics 👍 Tam.
Thank you for watching Tam. Glad you enjoyed it. I am hoping Oris update the Calibre 733 to their new Calibre 400 used in the Aquis. Having a 5 day power reserve in the Sixty-Five would make it more competitive with the Tudor Black Bay 58's 70 hour power reserve. Regards.

Flipped my Tudor daily this week & found a bargain 65 diver barely used.
I have a feeling I will be keeping hold of it.
So much character
Lovely watch. Really like these retro divers. Otis have some fantastic watches. Thanks

Just purchased this watch but on leather and I must say it is a great piece! Picked up used as a full kit for $750 USD or about $900 Canadian
Congratulations. Excellent choice. Wear yours in good health. Regards, #WR4K

Bought the bronze edged bezel version yesterday.
Congratulations 👏 I am considering the same piece, how is it going?

Just placed an order for the same watch. How do you find it. Thanks
Nice watch! I love my 36mm version
Thank you for watching. Regards.
I hope oris keeps this watch the way it is. Caliber 400 has too many problems.
Thank you for watching. Regards, #WR4K
I love the bracelet
Thank you for watching Heinrich. Glad you enjoyed it. Regards.

With all due respect, what's the point of recording in 4k if your camera is out of focus?
Thank you for watching Jiří. Apologies, before the review I was cleaning the LCD screen and accidently switched off the autofocus. Regards, #WR4K
@@watchreviews4k Ok, no problem. Excuse the snarkiness.

For such high prices, they should improve it. - Yes, Sir.
Thank you for watching Achim. Regards.
Nice watch but surprised they screwed up with the rivet style bracelet. My £200 San Martin retro diver has a better realised than this.
Enjoyed your review of Oris Divers Sixty Five, nice watch. Interesting information about the current lume and bezel.
