Gokarna forest resort is a fantastic and peaceful hotel resort in kathmandu, Nepal. We were here for a couple of days and it was a perfect place to relax. The rooms are spacious and high quality. There were lots of friendly animals like deer outside our balcony. The breakfast is one of the Best. The massage spa is lovely and we would recommend especially with the reasonable prices and spa facilities. If you are a keen golfer the golf course is great! It’s set in a forest jungle with monkeys and it’s challenging but also unusual. I would certainly recommend a stay here.
The main resort complex derives its influence from an architectural blend of Malla and Rana royal palaces. The temperate forest of medieval Kathmandu Valley has been protected for over 500 years - nourishing and providing shelter to a wide variety of birds and animals including spotted-deer and monkeys, all of which are easily spotted throughout the Resort grounds.
Whether you want to be fully engaged with golf, horseback rides, spa treatments, forest walks, jungle paintball games, bird watching, cycling, driving range practice and a cart tour, or you just want to enjoy doing nothing at all, the quiet, natural and peaceful environment of the resort makes it the perfect getaway for relaxation and indulgence.
