Colin accounted for 409 of those yards, including 296 passing and 113 rushing, accompanied by 3 TDs. e during Colin’s 11. I'm a huge Colin Kaepernick fan and advocate, and in fact, I've boycotted the NFL since he got dogged by them, but I have to say, if he can still play at the highest level, after all this time away from that level of athleticism, he's a bonafide superhero. Which he just might be. But I'd be shocked. They took his career away from him. Remember, he was a yard or two away from being a champion. On that alone he should be signed and given an opportunity. But if any of this happens, I'll be surprised. Racism. Power. White supremacy. Finding more value in a stupid flag than human lives who are black. All a that makes this hard to buy into as any kind of legitimate. Like Wiley said, if it was real, he'd be signed already. I guess time will tell. I'm still boycotting. Until he's seen running out of an NFL tunnel, full gear, contract intact and guaranteed, and a little step forward toward some justice. At least in this case. At least a little bit. Sounds like a movie. Not real life. Until something like that happens, I don't believe in the NFL. I won't watch again unless that happens. Not that anyone involved in the NFL would care about what I do, or think, or feel, I'm not deluded like that, but hey, we all have to do what we think is right in our own little world. Anyway... We'll see.
Here’s the thing about Colin Kaepernick. As Deshaun Watson approved, if you can play lights out football, the NFL will forgive any sin. If Colin Kaepernick could play at that level, he would be on a team. Likewise, I do believe that if he wasn’t kneeling for the national anthem and playing at the same level he is now, he’d probably be on a team. Teams don’t like distractions. Look at Tim Tebow. In his first year out of the league, Kyle Orton was still playing. Tim Tebow replaced Orton on two occasions. In other words, Tim Tebow was better than a player who was still in the league. But nobody wanted to sign Tim Tebow because of the distraction he presented. If you are incredibly talented, a Gameday performer, and a distraction, the NFL will hire you. If you commit a crime and you are supremely talented, you will get a job. But if you are mediocre and a distraction? Not so much. That may not be right, but that is reality.
@@creativereality4212 I actually agree with you, but that's only because I think the ship sailed a long time ago with regards to Colin Kaepernick being a great quarterback in the NFL. He has certainly deserved a job all this time, but I can't imagine after all of this layoff, that he could just step on an NFL field and be a top-notch quarterback. But I agree with everything that you're saying, including Tim Tebow. Sadly, even in sports, politics and power play a huge role in what happens on the field. Or at least with regards to who gets on the field.
How much does Kap want, though? Raiders are currently sitting on 5 mill, which will increase to plus 20 in June. Still, they have to get a deal done for Renfrow and Waller, so that won't leave much left over after rook signings.
Shoot not comparing him to Vick, but when Mike came out he took one mil one year cuz he REALLY wanted it. Then he got what ? Like 100 mil on his next deal?
Cell brought up a good point that I've also had in that there was something in that settlement that made Kap sit down for a while. Maybe the NFL hoped he would just move on, and if he does end up on a roster it'll be another black eye for the owners.

I bet the Raiders sign him for some good PR. Their longest tenured employee just quit/fired because he was speaking out against the toxic workplace culture. A whole lot is about to come out of the closet.
Why does everyone forget kap could been in league in 2017. Ravens were gonna sign him until his girlfriend made the comment about ray Lewis an owner Steve biscotti
Biggest con man is Donald Trump. He had to settle a $25 million dollars case outside the court after he ripped off students at this Trump university. He stole millions from charity where once again he had to settle it outside the court and pay millions back. That's just two examples out of 1000s.
So Colin Kaepernick is.. just like every unemployed person in the country… Except with a multimillion dollar settlement with the league, a Nike deal, and his own TV series. Nobody can sign themselves to a job, that’s just life.
Kaepernick is 35 years old and hasn't played since 2016. Nobody is giving him a contract. Why would the Raiders bring him in? Carr is solidified as a starter. Kaep would be the backup at best.

He also didn't get black balled! Tell the whole story!
It was a disaster.
Kap now reminds me of the kid that was great in high-school but never got to college... people talk about how great he was but he's pulling a AL BUNDY working at a shoe store dreaming of days gone by... dreaming of 5 years ago....
i was there myself
Uncle Rico could have been State champ.

Is Colin still good enough to play?
Let’s provide some statistics to show Colin’s ability to play football at the highest level:
Despite having to recover from three surgeries during 2016, Colin immediately started once healthy and was never beaten out by any other quarterback on the roster.
2016 progress in QB rating after coming back from injury:
66.4 - First 2 Games (Post-Injury)
93.6 - Next 5 Games
101.1 - Last 4 Games
2016 Stats (11 Starts) - 16 TDs/4Ints, 2,241 passing yards, 2 rushing TDs, and 468 rushing yards
2016 Stats (projected for 16 starts) - 23 TDs/5Ints, 3260 passing yards, 3 rushing TDs, and 680 rushing yards
In his Week 12 start at Miami, he led the 49ers to 475 yards of total offense. Colin accounted for 409 of those yards, including 296 passing and 113 rushing, accompanied by 3 TDs. e during Colin’s 11.
Career TD/Int Ratio: Colin has the 6th best ratio in NFL history among QBs with at least 70 TDs, directly ahead of Derek Carr (7th), Drew Brees (8th), and Matt Ryan (9th).
Career Stats - 72 TD/30 INT, 12,271 passing yards, 13 rushing TDs, 2,300 rushing yards.
Playoff Record - (4-2) including 1 Super Bowl appearance and 2 NFC Championship appearances
In summary, it is difficult to think of another young player in NFL history with statistics and character as impressive as Colin’s not being given an opportunity to earn a spot on an NFL roster after what he has accomplished.
He wasn’t good enough to play five years ago! Do you think he got younger?
Marcellus is the new whitlock
I'm a fan of Kap since I first saw him on a pan camera shot of him on the sideline and was like "woe who is that" I saw Russell Wilson give his 1st televised interview when he got drafted and knew he was going to be great. Kap, no matter what, if you want to play, ball out. Do whatever you can , because like acho said , the rest is out your hands. If they say you slow, get fast. Do what ever u gotta do. Nick mullens please lol
Also, that argument by Wiley at 5 minutes... tell that to AB
No longer about Kap, this is about liberals looking like they care. Let’s be honest, a lot of people will fall for it.
These guys are putting the work in...
McDaniels doesnt run gadget plays requiring a player like Kap, if they wanted a mobile guy they would've tried to keep Mariota whos younger and faster
Mariota was never better than kap..2ndly he ran plenty of “gadget” plays for Cam as the patriots OC we all know the reason why he’s not signed Stidahm is trash Mullins is trash.. so tell me what’s the difference
Great points.
Acho hairline is immaculate
Wiley just cant let it go

Nice take from Acho!
4-21 in his last 25 starts - move over Tom Brady according to you 😂
The man got beaten out by Blaine Gabbert.
@@HomerunsamSOSA Exactly what I was thinking.

Marcellus makes it his duty to dislike Kap with no rhyme or reason. Move on.
I thought everyone is racist?
Great debate!
Cell brought up a good point that I've also had in that there was something in that settlement that made Kap sit down for a while. Maybe the NFL hoped he would just move on, and if he does end up on a roster it'll be another black eye for the owners.
He will bring more confusion and chaos because that's what his real job is. Only a fool would put him on their team.
I use the same ringtone as Wiley lol.
This is why I don't like Wiley! He doesn't know what was talked about. And after a workout a player usually doesn't get a answer the same day. Wiley is upset Kaepernick kneeled!
WILEY & SNEAZY A SMITTY we're Kaps BIGGEST critics I mean they actually act as if cat was kneeling in their living room but both of them are bought off company Men and so while they pretend like oh I grew up in Compton but because he went to an ivy League school then every person should be able to do that if you can't do that then you're nothing he's full of it
Yeah, McDaniels SAID NOTHING about Kaep. It is what it is ..never shouldve called it SLAVERY. He took the settlement like Antonio Brown said .. it is what it is.

just stop. Every starting quarterback in the NFL is better than Kap. Every backup. Every third string. Kap is old, has awful footwork, a wide open terrible release, is inaccurate and inconsistent. The arm strength is average at best. Did anyone actually watch his workout. It wasn't good. Every college qb looks good without a defense pushing back. Just stop.

It doesn’t prove anything. He has a career 59% completion %. 28-30 record as a starter. That super bowl run was most Loy because the defense carried them. Kap did have a game or two.
