The freightliner looks great but again for me... scale matters and this piece is no exception. If Matchbox would make a tractor truck look closer to the size it needs to be relative to the regular passenger cars scale wise, then I would be more inclined to buy them. When you put that tractor truck next to a car, it just doesn't look right. I get it, it's a toy, but this set is marketed to adults.
If you are making a diorama, A maisto 1/43 scale tractor truck put next to a 1/64th scale matchbox car looks as close to what it what it would appear in real life.

Much as I love to see 2X of the Freightliner in the case, it is still going to be scarce as the 1X Datsun. The Benz and VW have been perennial pegwarmers in my area, along with the various Rover models

Doubt it, the matchbox relaunch has been luke warm at best. Tesco and Sainsbury's have already lost interest, with Sainsburys already dropping the brand. Tesco seems to have done the same. I suspect self sabotage from Mattel, once again...
