Like a miniature piano concerto, probably the most virtuoso piano variations Mozart has written. Again a lovely performance by Häbler. Thanks for sharing.
Fun fact: An 18th century textbook on composition had a chapter on variations- Mozart was mentioned. It was one of the first ever pedagogical mentions of Wolfgang and his work.
Manu Petaia Should be here: sites.google.com/site/mozartdocuments/documents/1791-10-24 hopefully you can access it. I was wrong, it wasn’t a textbook, it was simply a review of another composer’s variations. Even still, it is interesting to hear old comments on Mozart.
@Manu Petaia classical cadenzas frequently started on a I 6/4 because it was common. It was not a strict rule but it was, and has been throughout history, the most accepted among composers. If you see for example Mozart's piano concerti, you will see that, right before the start of the cadenzas, the orchestra plays a cadencial theme that finished on a I 6/4.
So beautiful !! I also like the eight variations on " Come un agnello " from " I due litiganti " by G Sarti in a minor K 460(1782) and Twelve variations on a Menuet by JC Fischer in C major K 179(1774) Best Giacomo
Thank you so much for uploading all these videos with scores. It's a coincidence because I am having a Mozart phase and Ingrid Haebler's recordings have been getting me through lockdown...and then you began uploading her performances with scores...an absolute dream! This work I have found through lockdown...it is relatively unknown but hopefully now it is on a channel such as this more people will hear it's beauty! Thank you!
Bartje, what would you say is your favorite of Mozart's variation sets? I'm still working my way through them all (playing them, and listening to your marvelous videos), and I think either Unser dummer... or the Duport Variations are my favorite.
The best explanation I found which was on Quora by user Naman Varma: "They help the youtube algorithm make accurate decisions on what kind of videos you, as a viewer, would like and would keep you hooked to the website for a longer time. It’s in their best interest that you keep active on the website for as long as possible. Hence presenting you with favorable content is one of the best ways to do that. Your likes and dislikes are one of the best inputs to this algorithm of theirs. Of course this is an over simplification and there is a huge number of other inputs and factors that youtube takes into account, but in essence this is how youtube works. So as a youtube viewer, you should hold nothing back while disliking. A disliker is not complaining against the video creator, it is telling youtube that I do not prefer this content." In summary: It may not be a personal dislike but a suggestion that UA-cam recommend something else.

Wonderful Ingrid Haebler. I think Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart would have enjoyed listening to her play. Thank you, for my listening delight!
His own rendition would have pleased him most.

Another delightful set of variations. Thanks for the upload.
Amazingly 👏 👏 👏 love Ingrid performance ,she is the best Mozart interpratater.
Mozart was such an innovator that he was doing variations of Liszt pieces that weren't written yet centuries before Liszt was born
