N6GRG here . I use a very quick, direct method. I have added 5 , 10, and 15 mhz to my js8 call frequencies in the menu (its in settup). I click on whichever one is strong, and move quickly over to Timing (bottom right of waterfall). , I set up that menu so I can see one option that includes the word NOW (minute START). I wait for the voices that announce the top of the minute, and click the instant the top of minute beep happens. I quickly move back to whatever freq I was on before and will be instantly within 200ms. I also have a new watch, Casio Atomic, that resets itself, I can use that for the top of the minute, it works. Turns out I doubled up on what your telling us but sometimes it helps.

Awesome video on JS8Call Time Sync! I had been wondering how to do a grid-down time sync.....now I know! Thank you for yet another great video!
Thanks again! The WWV was a game changer for me. As I learn this stuff, I pass it on.
I use BKT-Time Synch to synch my system time and then make sure the drift is turned off. Then transmit @AllCall Time Synch 000 Drift.
So glad you found a way that works perfectly GREAT JOB!!
