@kenalvarez9830 this one's a lot of fun...i have yet to lose in game where I went first. I've lost matches due to rough matchups combined with losing die roles...but even in my worst matchups i can always win going 1st.
Another Alice strategy to consider when playing,(learned this the hard way and cost me the game) specifically against decks with removal: “Is a character that is drying able to quest for more than 1 lore. If so give the ward to the drying character.” Also, not sure where you could drop it but caterpillar might be a fun turn 4 following Alice, or just a solid turn 3
@DustinMcCollum-j7l I did mention using the ability on a character that was just played... its definitely a solid strategy. We did test with caterpillar & he's solid but opted to play julietta instead for a little extra card draw
I was running a similar build, but was actually using King Candy with the Shift 3 for the Draw 2 ability. Is that something you play tested? Shifting for 3 and having a 3/3/2 was super nice as well!
@Steve-outdoorz i did test with him but due to the over-abundance of steel in my local meta I just didn't find myself getting value from him the way I would have hoped. Also after the first few turns it's super hard to get 3 characters down at once to make him good so I just found the ward characters work better after turn 4
Do you think this deck stands a chance at set championship? I’ve been running amber/amethyst since last set, but don’t think it’ll do well with all the steel we’re seeing. I like that this combats that problem.
How does this fair into Ruby Sapphire? I would imagine Big Sisu is a massive problem for it. Probably decent into Ruby Amethyst as they can't ramp to Be Prepared.
@michaelwilson7715 ruby Amethyst can be hit & miss due to fox & brawl. Ruby Sapphire i have yet to lose going first so its all down to the dice role. If they go first & ramp hard it can be tough for sure. Playing smart & not going too wide is pretty key. Last time I played that matchup it was one of the top ranked players in the country & game 3 he got board control while I was at 18.
It is really interesting to follow your "journey" with this deck 👍 I also really like Anna and Alice but I am trying to make them work in a sapphire steel shell instead. If you are up for a challenge, I would love to see your take on a sapphire steel hero focused deck without Tragic Beast and champion of sherwood (sine I cannot afford them currently 😢😅).
@Rasmus.Elnegaard to be honest I just feel like committing to a shift line for your robin to take out a couple guys & beast immediately taking damage with everyone playing steel makes those cards particularly weak in the meta right now. I'm sure I'll have more decklists in the future with them in the mix but right now they just aren't my favorite. I was running champion of sherwood in Amethyst Steel & Tragic Beast in Green Steel & ended up cutting them in both instances. Now they just sit in my binder until next set lol. Appreciate the kind words, stay tuned for when we eventually make beast great again lol
@@thenerdcaveyt I cannot afford them right now, so I prefer decks that DON'T run them 👍 knowing that they are actually not that great right now makes me kind af happy 😆
@Rasmus.Elnegaard that's a fair reaction haha, Robin is honestly only good in steelsong right now & not everyone is even playing it there. Beast is really only good in green steel & same, seen a lot of people cutting it.
@Whitehamma totally appreciate that question & you're actually not the first to ask on all fronts. Piglet is rough for me in a meta around me that's heavily steel. Tiana being uninkable made her feel bad & she didn't ever seem better than the uninkables I ultimately ended up with. Simba was same issue with uninkability & he's at odds with bodyguards because his trigger effects everyone.
@dchil3326 floodborn simba is definitely cool but we couldn't make him work for 2 reasons. 1. Uninkability is already at a max for the list 2. He is at odds with characters that have bodyguard which is a major focus of the list. I do think there could be a build with him that is good but I think in that instance you'd be best off also replacing the baloo and at least some donald.

Kida you could replace with more of most anything in the deck that is inkable. The list is right so all the cards are good. You could play more Madrigal in place of rapunzel but it's not gonna hit the same
Looks like a fun deck to try out man. Love how the large will power characters will fair against steel.

Always love an aggro build; never can get it fast enough but I love to play these decks still. Excited to try it out 😊

I love this deck, i saw it in the cross continentals and started playing it at League, and many people underestimated it 😂 lots of W's

Did you consider Piglet - Pooh Pirate Captain? Seems like another good hero that also puts pressure on opponents.

@kevingoodman9972 if you are in a steel heavy meta I definitely think this is the aggro deck to play for sure. I'm considering it myself.

Have you considered Piglet, Tiana and Simba Pride Protector?

I don't have enough Rapunzels (1) or Kidas (2) and won't be able to get more for set champs. What would be the best substitutions?
