- The Robocop Rogue City video game is amazing but the sounds effects for the gun and some of the servos are pretty blah considering that Hollywood as archived a great majority of the sound effects from the first film. To those working at Teyon please change the sound effects for the Auto 9 and a couple servo effects from this website here.

The gun needs what's called a "synth sweetener". It's where you add a synth low end too it to make it sound beefy as hell. They added that to the gun and robo's footsteps, punches, and general actions to make all the robo sounds huge. Learned it in the Robodoc documentary that just came out which I'd HIGHLY recommend!

Chris, on the trailer video clip, I totally thought they should have had you play the role. Your suit is so much better and your movement is so much better than the 'trailer' they made and posted. This video is hilarious. lol!! AND, I always love the Bloodsport "fight to survive" song at the end.

The game is amazing it really is!
One thing is Robocop's gun sound, BUT the way Robocop moves and walks it's HORRIBLE!!!!!! The way he moves it's..... ok, BUT Robocop never walked that way!!!!! The gun sound can be easily fix, but the walking it's too late to fix it. They should send this problem to OCP, they fix everything. Regards from Chile, your Robocop suit is one of the best I've seen!!!!

Yep, the Auto 9 has the wrong sound effect. Not sure if that will be corrected or if we'll have to rely on mods (for the PC version at least). Other that that, it's really faithful to the source material from what I've played thus far.

The sound is EXTREMELY satisfying like I rarely saw in a game and they had to change the sound of the auto 9 cuz in the movie it feels outdated very badly. Now it's louder much more louder. You guys simply don't care about quality you just wants it to be like the movis no matter how bad it was and how better it is now, just cuz it was there at first it needs to be there's now. Thanks god devs do not think like that

Yeah, I added some mods that added in the movie sound effects, it is so much better now.
There are a lot of small things in the game that need to be tweaked and sounds are at the top of the list for me. Nothing like that iconic weapon fire sound effect.
Just love those classic Robocop sound effects, and the videogame wasn't bad either. 👍

So happy the game is good. They have some really cool ideas from the movies like the upgrade that lets you ricochet off walls like in Robocop 2, throwing people, slomo, destruction. They did a great job.
Also just want to throw in your suit is amazing. Really cool. Went over the top with the sounds too, so cool.

Hopefully they will change it but the game is so good I think I could be ok without it. They put so much attention into a lot of details it makes me think there must of been a copyright issue with the sounds but not sure. They definitely might of not known where to find the sounds that's why I did the video.

I played this game on PC just today as of this writing my Boyfriend gifted me the game on Steam so excited!, I just made an almost 300 Score my total was 294. Pretty much I would make Alex Murphy very proud of my fast precision shooting. XD
Aside from the Sounds I am having a ton of fun though.

I think we'll have to rely on the mods. I don't know how true, but I read that the license for that auto 9 sound is 30k USD.
The Auto 9 sound is iconic like the Pulse Rifle/ Smart Gun yet they always get them wrong, we always have to correct them with mods lol
You think the game devs don't realize those guns don't sound right? Like you said, the sounds are iconic. It's not always a matter of them getting it wrong, but those distinct sounds are copyrighted and obtaining the license to use them in a game for commercial purposes are not always easy or may be cost prohibitive.
@@tboneforrealthey got the license for robocop and the actors likeness, the theme music. Don't imagine they couldn't get the gun sound effect.
Pulse rifle is always the same exact sound of the movie or very very close. The auto 9 had a bad sound so they just upgraded it. You guys can't see a good change. Everything needs to be a copy paste even the things that need improvement. Gamer sometimes...
For a RoboCop game "made by fans for the fans" you'd think they'd get the Auto-9 right.
At least give us the correct muzzle flash. Even the crappy 2003 game got THAT right.

My only complain so far, the gun sound indeed and that there’s no 3rd person view choice which defeats the point of seeing Robo’s splendor. Not sure if modders can jump this eventually. Aside that worth every penny.. been waiting to satisfy this hunger for 36 years so it’s better late than never and considering we may not get another attempt at this for a long time.

Copyright problems as far as i know. Same with footsteps.
I’m liking the game but mine has bad audio crackling on ps5 plus pixelation every time the camera angle changes. And the last word in spoken sentences is always cut off. Disappointing. The game is fun despite these obvious flaws.

I'm loving the game, I noticed a little of that as well but man the gameplay and attention to detail makes up for it. I'm sure a lot of that will fixed soon.
