LeBron not winning DPOY wasnt that much of a ripoff, if you look at the defensive stats, it was pretty even between Gasol and LeBron, the biggest crime there was Gasol not being 1st Team All Defense.

@jangz08 that's fair, I'm not saying he didn't deserve it, him and Gasol were the 2 best defenders in the league that year. I just think people get too hung up on the fact that Gasol didn't make it on the 1st team and use that as a reason why LeBron should have 100% won it, as opposed to questioning why Gasol wasn't in the 1st team.
I think LeBron could have won it in other years too. But that's the bad thing about popular vote awards.
Not related, but "Voter Fatigue" is the dumbest thing in the NBA, if there is a clear best in the league, give them the award every time they deserve it.

@jangz08 yes, I would vote Wemby to win it, his presence near the key makes most players think twice about driving because they don't want Wemby to hit them with one of huge blocks
