My local Walmart used to sell a combo box for cheesesteaks. A couple of sandwich rolls, meat pucks, shredded provolone and some chopped onion mixed with peppers.
This might be heresy to some, but I like my cheesesteaks with provolone instead of whiz, and mushrooms and jalapeños in addition to the peppers and onion. Also toasted bun.

As a philly guy I would say the violation here is that you need to chop those onions and peppers and also put the cheese on the bun first as well as mixed in with the meat
Also as a 215 guy...no one has ever made it look good...even Matty can't do it justice. Not sure why people try their own spin an call it a Philly Cheesesteak (Kev did NOT) but most do an it's really dumb.

On your next meet puck use the same peppers and onions but instead of Wiz use cream cheese and go heavy on the pepper. You will love it!

Yeah, those little break-apart steak patties are delicious. We used to have them at the restaurant I worked at and I would eat them all the time.

At walmart, they have 2 brands in my walmart. They are in with the frozen foods and kinda hard to find.

Brands are Steakums and Great Value.
Sam's Club has Steak-EZE Sirloin Steak Strips in the freezer section. They are really good and usually out of stock.
