VW T5 disable passenger air bag

The easy way to disable you passenger air bag on a be T5, unscrew the screw in glove box and remove then disconnect the plug/ connection from the left side of the air bag unit. The light will come on the dash board.

If u plug it back in will the airbag light go out? Or do you have to get it reset
