I had bought a bigger blown glass bull that also had a broken horn. I bought a pack of those mini straw sombreros that they put in drinks and attached one to the end of the horn. Don't mess with the bull or you get the horn.
@Sara Jackson - they ARE salt cellars. Have been collecting them for many years and my parents were antique dealers for 50+ years. 🥰😍 GREAT last name, LOL‼️🤣
Pool noodles are awesome for packing fragile items, like the vanity set. They cut to size easily and can be spilt open to go around things like handles. Always enjoy the knowledge you share in your videos!
I made it to PA and went to Kaspers. The owner and I were talking about how you single handedly have brought back glass. It was fun to go to a place that I’ve seen you pick.
I believe if you look at the Scotty in a basket trying to escape that would be Toto from the wicked ladies basket on the Wizard of Oz I’d love to have it but I can’t talk to the computer and buying stuff online and that I don’t know how but that’s what it is have a great day
With hand to wheel thrown pottery, sharp edges are a bad thing. The bottom of the pot should be finished with a smooth raised edge. There should not be any cut marks caused by the wire when removing it from the wheel. The walls of the pottery should be uniform in thickness from top to bottom and the same goes for the true base of the pottery. I was a Fine Arts major in college with a proficiency in ceramics and graphite. A pot with a clunky, chunky bottom and unfinished edges was an automatic F and the professor would smash it in the refuse bin.
Hi Jocelyn. I'm so pleased you picked up the vanity set, it's really pretty. I really enjoy your videos, great commentary. Keep being awesome, take care.
Yes, the parrots 🦜 on it were beautiful and it had lots of orange, yellow and green which Jocelyn gravitates to so often. 😁 I was pretty shocked 😳 that plate didn't even get mentioned, LOL‼️🙉⁉️
I like it when you shop by yourself sometimes. Kind of gets distracting when you are talking about items and conversations you are having with the person shopping with you at the same time. Of course nothing wrong with your resell friends along with you but just prefer to hear one person talking and describing their finds as I sometimes find it a bit too distracting when you and person you are with are talking at the same time you are describing items. I know you are there to help each other but glad you do shop alone sometimes.
That pitcher with the flowers is so lovely. Perfect for summer to put lemonade or iced tea and a nice large doily to put underneath it. Those glasses looked like they went with it or very close. Did you buy it??
I went to a Goodwill in Somersworth, N.H. about a quarter mile from Dover, N.H. I found 3 pieces of Salmon Falls Pottery, but I left them there. They were asking $20.00 for each piece which wasn't a bad price, but I already have a large collection of their pottery collecting dust. What I really need is more shelving, or real wooden bookcases. For my art glass collection I have collecting since you got me hook on hand blown art glass. I have 2 Murano pieces, and several other pieces from God knows where. All I know is I love them, and they bring me joy.
You ate not people's private shopper, lol. Buy what you want, what you feel comfortable with. Do what you do so well. Look how far you have come and still going strong. We love your quirky fun finds just as much as your excitement over the high end finds. Rock it.
Literally packing 3 miniature chicken dishes while watching. I have tons of vintage chicken dishes from my grandmother slowly liquidating. It was surprising they are such a good seller.
Hi there Jocelyn, well thanks to all your wonderful videos, and all you teach us,today I got a Japanese porcelain vase for £3 in a charity shop here in England,on eBay £250😝😃😃thank you, thank you😍😍because I would have never known without you😝❤️❤️❤️
Dreamsicles by Kristen Haynes ... Produced for Hallmark. I have been collecting from the beginning, have over 2000. Havent been worth much in past years but in the last 6 months or so have seen an uptick in prices. I just love them. All of them.. lol
I think I might need help. I’m sitting here having a conversation with Jocelyn as she goes along and she can’t hear me. Does anyone know of a support group? 🤣
The Scottie in basket reminded me of the movie Wizard of Oz where the witch neighbor is riding her bike with Toto. Even as an adult that movie scares me!
The very first item you placed in the cart, the white bird, looks a lot like Legendware from Sedona Arizona. I have one, different glaze, but it's marked with a sticker/decal.
That cash or check is because we the vendors have to pay the credit card fees, and they cut into our profit, especially if you sell a lot, sometimes they are 10% of our totals! I only pay cash, if buying from another vendor!
Wire sculpture would be fun jewelry display. If the vanity set was sent in more than one box, would it save shipping? I’ve had sellers do that to save shipping for me.
I am looking for an iron stove for my Barbies like the one in the glass cabinet next to the book. It is at the beginning of the video! In the booth with the little hens on nest collection.
That complete vanity set was an AWESOME find❣ Shipping won't be all that expensive if you pack in 2 or 3 boxes. I would be over the moon to own that set 🥰❗
Glad you got the vanity set - you’ll figure a way to post it and I bet it will be a good earner I found out today the origins of the words toilet toilette It is French for a small usually fine linen cloth which covered the heavy brocade or tapestry covering on the dressing table , which protected the brocade and could be washed easily
Some malls charge a greater commission for credit cards vs. cash or check. Like in my mall it is 8% Commission Cash or check but it is 12% for credit/Debit Cards. That could be what is going on in that mall. Just a thought :)
That silver sculpture reminds me when we’d pick out a branch and spray paint it for Easter. I have tiny Easter ornaments that we’d decorate it with. Probably sacrilege but that’s life The set is stunning.
Great video! Love the tea cup with the flowers on it. I wouldn't paid $495.00 for that Green Agate lamp it needs a lot of work. I have seen pretty lamps that are new.
I love, love love the fish lamp to...it made me feel so happy inside...I want it!!!!
I have a red painted milk glass hen on nest just like that. Mine is Westmoreland glass.
Hi Jocelyn. Love the fish lamp and the dressing table set. Marie
I had bought a bigger blown glass bull that also had a broken horn. I bought a pack of those mini straw sombreros that they put in drinks and attached one to the end of the horn. Don't mess with the bull or you get the horn.
Hahaha. I love that.
I finally was able to get to Black Rose in Chambersburg and I found a large L E Smith moon and stars amber compote!
Hi, I once had a vanity set similar to that one, it was from either Spain or Portugal...so we'll made and unique set ..I was glad you bought it!
That guy MOE must restock constantly. I didn't see the Moon and Stars fairy lamp when I was there a few weeks ago.
Yea fun video but keep your glasses on!😊
I have several of the tiny hens on nests. I was told they were salt cellars. ♥️
@Sara Jackson - they ARE salt cellars. Have been collecting them for many years and my parents were antique dealers for 50+ years. 🥰😍 GREAT last name, LOL‼️🤣
I have a McCoy bowl that I picked up 2 weeks ago it’s plain and a oatmeal color
The bridge lamp makes me think of Scott at Olde Curiosity Shop
Dresser set, they have birds on them.
I'm dreaming about birds and succulents.
Those glass chickens were lush, I only see the pottery ones in England.
I love them too I got an amber glass chicken of a boot sale for £2.00
Pool noodles are awesome for packing fragile items, like the vanity set. They cut to size easily and can be spilt open to go around things like handles. Always enjoy the knowledge you share in your videos!
You can buy them at Dollar Stores.
THIS is a great idea!!
Hello Jocelyn
I made it to PA and went to Kaspers. The owner and I were talking about how you single handedly have brought back glass. It was fun to go to a place that I’ve seen you pick.
Yay! They are wonderful people!
His horn too
My problem would be wanting to keep everything!
I hv some of those salt chickens how much where they
I believe if you look at the Scotty in a basket trying to escape that would be Toto from the wicked ladies basket on the Wizard of Oz I’d love to have it but I can’t talk to the computer and buying stuff online and that I don’t know how but that’s what it is have a great day
YAY!!!! I’m so glad you got the vanity set! Beautiful ❤️
I think that's Toto, the Cairn Terrier escaping the basket in The Wizard of Oz

Are any of these glass chickens available? Where do I go? TY
Hi Jocelyn. I'm so pleased you picked up the vanity set, it's really pretty. I really enjoy your videos, great commentary. Keep being awesome, take care.
I’m pretty sure that metal tree sculpture said $149.-, not $14.95. 😉
Oh that beautiful big dish with colorful birds on the back of the shelf....
Yes, the parrots 🦜 on it were beautiful and it had lots of orange, yellow and green which Jocelyn gravitates to so often. 😁 I was pretty shocked 😳 that plate didn't even get mentioned, LOL‼️🙉⁉️
The vanity set is beautiful. Why can't you put in one of your booths? It is just gorgeous!!! Dainty.

I'm a solo shopper, so I agree. I love the others, but I'm here for Jocelyn's info.
@@crystalwaddell537
Glad to hear you are a solo shopper!!!
I could hear the sigh of relief from Walter when you passed on the tree sculpture
The tree is very light! And not breakable. Think it wasn’t worth much.
Jocelyn I think your next merch campaign should be a shirt with a bird that says “It’s got a bird on it!”
I can see all the hens on nests on the table as salts
ahhhh I remember those glass chickens...I want one!
Another great video. I wait for your videos every day especially since we're still under lockdown here in NS. Thanks 😊 Jocelyn
“It’s all going to be ok, take a deep breath”
🤣😂 you’re so funny!
Love it!
That pitcher with the flowers is so lovely.
Perfect for summer to put lemonade or iced tea and a nice large doily to put underneath it. Those glasses looked like they went with it or very close.
Did you buy it??
Get the vanity set!!! Great content as always! thank you ma'am!
Is it hard to sell one cup or do you need a whole set

I would have to have that fish lamp!
You ate not people's private shopper, lol. Buy what you want, what you feel comfortable with. Do what you do so well. Look how far you have come and still going strong. We love your quirky fun finds just as much as your excitement over the high end finds. Rock it.
You do make me smile when you say oooohello
The name Kristen on the bottom of the bunnies that's the same maker of the dreamsicles
I would shop there all the time instead of the Goodwill. Their prices are getting way to high at the Goodwill. Love the vanity set.
Amazing items
Love the Godinger reindeer!!!
Literally packing 3 miniature chicken dishes while watching. I have tons of vintage chicken dishes from my grandmother slowly liquidating. It was surprising they are such a good seller.
That’s bridge lamp was beautiful!

Love the vanity set!
11:20 you just put each piece in its own box, wrap those boxes with bubble and put all boxes in one big box, simple.

Were the mini hens in baskets individually priced? So stinkin’ cute!
YES sell the set, please do not split it up
Thx for sharing on the bridge lamp info. I had my suspicions as to why they were called that, but never heard of the bridge card game reason.👍
I think I might need help. I’m sitting here having a conversation with Jocelyn as she goes along and she can’t hear me. Does anyone know of a support group? 🤣
following ....lol
Lol yeah, you're in it!
We're all here because we also do that! 😄
I love the blue metal truck in Steven O'Connors booth. Thanks for sharing
OMG I love the bridge lamp! ❤️❤️❤️
Jocelyn... put your glasses back on and stop wearing them on the top of your head...there I said it...🤣🤣🤣
Many beautiful stuff ilovet thanks for sharing.
The vanity set is reminiscent of MacKenzie Child pattern. Might sell well.
That is exactly what I was thinking!!
The Scottie in basket reminded me of the movie Wizard of Oz where the witch neighbor is riding her bike with Toto. Even as an adult that movie scares me!
I would have been All Over that vanity set. Just bubble wrap it good
Thanks for the video. Great information!
You’ll do very well selling the McKee or Fire King Jadeite. McKee glows under black light
Wearing my missing lid conspiracy sweatshirt. Love it. Happy weekend!!
If someplace is always a % off and never the marked price then technically there is no savings.
Where’s Dagney???
Those oil lamp are great for power outages. Believe I used them when I was a caregiver with no electricity. I brought I with me along with others
Yay! Black Rose,my favorite!🌹❤️
Abingdon, Illinois is right up the road from me. The pottery made toilets, sinks, etc and then beautiful vases, cookie jars, etc.
The very first item you placed in the cart, the white bird, looks a lot like Legendware from Sedona Arizona. I have one, different glaze, but it's marked with a sticker/decal.

Bunnies planter! So sweet!🥰
Hi Jocelyn,it’s eight pm in uk watching lv Ann xx
Yes...sell it as a set!❤️
I am looking for an iron stove for my Barbies like the one in the glass cabinet next to the book. It is at the beginning of the video! In the booth with the little hens on nest collection.
I had that same chalkware Ernie bank as a child. I still have it packed away somewhere.
That complete vanity set was an AWESOME find❣ Shipping won't be all that expensive if you pack in 2 or 3 boxes. I would be over the moon to own that set 🥰❗
Was the glass on the bridge lamp Houze glass? Scott from the Old Curiosity Shop just talked about that glass.
I saw the Ernie cookie jar and smiled big time.
Glad you got the vanity set - you’ll figure a way to post it and I bet it will be a good earner

💜💜💜Nice!!! Thanks for Sharing!!!
I collect those chicken dishes and I’ve never seen one in the wild 😭
That L E Smith Blue moon and stars fairy lamp is selling like actual sold price for $100 and you just walked by it 🤦🏼♀️
It’s funny how close you get to the items with your new glasses.
Love the pottery to the left of the chicken baskets. Nice
That vase @ 12:17 was pretty.
That tree sculpture would make a fantastic display for Halloween! 😍 🎃
I love the green agate lamp, but for an amateur like me it would-cost too much to fix it.
That silver sculpture reminds me when we’d pick out a branch and spray paint it for Easter. I have tiny Easter ornaments that we’d decorate it with. Probably sacrilege but that’s life
The set is stunning.
Walter going love packing that tea set
I liked the bunny item. tfs have a great day...
Loved the video but could you tell me how you get your skin to look so darn flawless?
I think “ she’s born with it”
She told us the name of her foundation one time but I don’t remember what it was.
Great video! Love the tea cup with the flowers on it. I wouldn't paid $495.00 for that Green Agate lamp it needs a lot of work. I have seen pretty lamps that are new.
WOW Love that Lamp !
Please recap your purchases at the end of your video. Thanks.
The agate lamp had place for stained glass shade(?)!!
